TERMS & CONDITIONS COVERAGE The Warrant-EASE Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle System is a unique and distinctive Covered Vehicle Inspection Process performed on a motor vehicle to determine potentially needed repairs, prevent predictable mechanical breakdowns, and also assist certified repair facilities and others in the repair and/or replacement of a vehicle’s Covered Components for the registered owner. In the event the Warrant-EASE Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle service performed on Your Vehicle fails to protect You from a covered Valid Claim within the timeframe and scope of the Inspection Plan selected on Page 1, the Warrantor, subject to terms and conditions set forth below, will participate with monetary assistance toward the repair of Your Covered Vehicle and credit You or Your Authorized Dealership’s Repair Facility on Your behalf, the following covered costs associated with repairing Your Vehicle. In order to keep this Limited Service Warranty in force, the Covered Vehicle must be maintained according to the manufacturer’s specifications and requirements. Proof of maintenance will be required from You in order to file a claim with Warrantor. VEHICLE OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES AND WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM Reimbursement credit will only be available on Your behalf, provided You: 1. PROPERLY MAINTAIN YOUR VEHICLE: In order to keep this Limited Service Warranty in force, the Covered Vehicle must be maintained according to the Vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. Documented proof of maintenance and verifiable receipts for regular and/or continued maintenance of Your Covered Vehicle will be required. 2. Report any incorrect, omitted, or false information on Your copy of the Covered Vehicle Inspection Report or Registration Page to the Dealership and Warrantor within fourteen (14) days of Today’s Date listed on Page 1. 3. In the event of a mechanical breakdown, assure that no further damage occurs to Your vehicle. 4. If your vehicle breaks down within twenty-five (25) miles of the Authorized Dealership, you can have Your vehicle delivered to either the Dealership Address on Page 1 or to one of their designated allied repair facilities for any and all covered repairs. There is no deductible for repair work done by the Authorized Dealership’s Repair Facility or their designated allied repair facility. If your vehicle breaks down more than twenty-five (25) miles from the Authorized Dealership, deliver your vehicle to a Certified Repair Facility of your choice. You will be responsible for a $100 deductible per repair per claim occurrence for any and all covered repairs performed anywhere other than at the Authorized Dealership’s Repair Facility or one of their designated repair facilities, unless the $0 Deductible Option on Page 1 is selected and the appropriate surcharge is paid. 5. To assure coverage under the terms of this Limited Service Warranty, authorization from the Warrantor must be obtained by the Repair Facility prior to diagnosis, teardown or repair by calling the CLAIMS HOTLINE at (800) 474-0306. All work done to Your vehicle without the prior authorization from the Warrantor will not be considered valid or reimbursable. Be prepared to provide maintenance records and receipts, if required. 6. If You do not follow the Vehicle Owner’s Responsibilities And What To Do In The Event Of A Claim, any and all benefits will be null and void. BENEFITS INCLUDED ON ALL INSPECTION PLANS: Rental car reimbursement up to $40 per day for up to four (4) days per claim incident. Rental car reimbursement will be calculated on quoted repair hours based on each eight (8) hours of repair time equaling one (1) day of rental car coverage. Trip interruption reimbursement (toward meals & lodging while waiting to have Your vehicle repaired) up to $75 per day for up to four (4) days per claim incident if mechanical breakdown occurs more than 250 miles from Your home address. Paid receipts for car rental and trip interruption must be submitted to Warrantor for reimbursement. SIGN-N-DRIVE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TOWING/ROAD SERVICE/LOCKOUT - In the event Your Vehicle is disabled, We will dispatch a service vehicle to Your location to assist You. In the event Your Vehicle is unable to continue under its own power Your Vehicle may be towed to a location of Your choosing. You will receive 25 miles of towing at no cost, any additional mileage will be Your responsibility and payment will be expected at the time service is rendered. When calling for towing or road service, You must call 1866-330-0760. You will be required to give the representative assisting You the following information: Producer Code – 22890, Your Registration Number (located on the front right corner of Page 1) and Your plan letter which is U. COVERAGE: You are entitled to one (1) service per 72-hours. Services available to You at no cost are: a tow up to 25 miles; battery jumpstart; flat tire change; fuel delivery (You are responsible for the actual cost of the delivered materials); lockout. REIMBURSEMENT: In the event Your vehicle is disabled and You contracted for any of the above covered services on your own, You will be able to submit Your original receipted road service expenses for reimbursement consideration. Your reimbursement for towing is $50. Reimbursement for any other roadside services including locksmith service is $50. ALL PLANS INCLUDE: POWERTRAIN COMPONENTS - All internally lubricated parts of the Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Transaxle and Drive Axle. All plans of this Limited Service Warranty begin when the Warrantor receives from the Authorized Dealership notice of binding coverage on Your vehicle (either via fax at time-of-sale or via receipt via mail). All plans expire at the end of the mileage and/or term chosen, whichever occurs first. LIMIT OF LIABILITY The maximum reimbursement for the term of this Limited Service Warranty shall in no event exceed the aggregate sum of the maximum credit for each Coverage Benefit, or a maximum of $5,000, or the Actual Cash Value of the Covered Vehicle, whichever is less. The Plus and Enhanced Plans have a $2000 per claim occurrence limit. The Advanced and Basic Plans have a $1500 per claim occurrence limit. The exception would be if You selected the Actual Cash Value (A.C.V.) Option on Page 1 which will pay out up to $5000 per claim and up to the vehicle’s A.C.V. (as determined by a regional market guide) in aggregate claims. LIMITATIONS 1. Any claim that occurs prior to the Warrantor’s receipt of the Registration Page from the Authorized Dealership. 2. Any claim other than mechanical breakdown of the Covered Vehicle. It does not cover scheduled maintenance, normal wear and tear items, diminished performance, non-listed parts or parts that are not broken. 3. Claims not limited to parts, labor, fluids, repair, replacement, diagnostic, or inspection of the Covered Vehicle at not covered. 4. This Warranty is intended to return the Customer’s Covered Vehicle to its pre-breakdown mechanical condition, therefore the Customer has the right to opt for OEM or substitute parts/labor at their own additional cost. 5. Once the Warrantor has made reimbursement for the repair or replacement of a Covered Component, this Limited Service Warranty will not cover additional repairs to or replacement of that specific component for the remaining duration of the Coverage Period. 6. Benefits provided under this Limited Service Warranty are not cancellable and are for the benefit of the original Customer (Warranty Holder/Registered Owner) only, as stated on the Limited Service Warranty Registration Page, except for the event of: a. Death of the original Customer of this Limited Product Warranty, then Benefits may be transferred to an immediate family member. b. A Covered Vehicle being repossessed or declared a total loss, then a pro-rated refund (minus a $50 cancel fee) will be issued. c. The sale of the Covered Vehicle to another private party, then the Customer must make a written request to the Warrantor within fourteen (14) days of said sale, provide documentation of the Covered Vehicle’s title transfer and include a $50 Warranty Transfer fee. EXCLUSIONS: (Coverage Does Not Apply To Any Of The Following) 1. 2. Claims resulting from abuse, negligence, towing or loads in excess of manufacturer’s specifications (including snowplow attachments/fifth wheels), overheating, lack of fluids, contaminated fluids, or continued operation after a breakdown or damage occurs. Claims resulting from war, whether or not declared, invasion, civil war, insurrection, rebellion, revolution, environmental damages, nuclear radiation, radioactive contamination, acid rain, or terrorist acts. Claims due to fraudulent, dishonest, illegal or criminal act(s) by You whether acting alone or in conjunction with others, are excluded. Claims resulting directly or indirectly from forgery or any dishonest, fraudulent, criminal act or intentional act, or due to conversion, embezzlement or secretion by any person in lawful possession of Your Vehicle. Any vehicle used for emergency services, conversions or accessories either not made by or approved by Your Vehicle manufacturer, taxis, government-owned vehicles, vehicles used in racing or competition. Claims caused by collision, road conditions, fire, vandalism, acts of God, or losses normally covered by property or casualty insurance. If You or any of your representatives employed intentional misrepresentation in the submission of a claim. If Your Vehicle is under a Manufacturer’s Warranty or recall, or subject to necessary repairs due to issuance of a Technical or Service Bulletin. Vehicles with tampered, altered or non-operating odometers, or with actual true mileage unknown. Loss of use of Your Vehicle, time, profit, inconvenience, any liability for property damage, or for injury or death of any person arising out of the operation, maintenance, or use of Your Vehicle, or any and all other incidental or consequential loss.
