& Fun Tips
(7-Steps to More Fun)
#1 All Players must bring a gift to the party. (AlbinoPhant provides the gift
shopping venue to save you the trouble)
#1 Tip: This party is mostly about the conversation and fun banter that
the gifts create… Take some time to explore the markets and
find something that will get everyone talking.
#2 All gifts must be wrapped before entering the party. (AlbinoPhant provides
the gift wrapping center)
#2 Tip: Notice that there is an advertisement for each gift wrapping
option. Use this to “sell” your gift to the group.
#3 All Players will be given a
turn to open or steal a gift
at random during game play.
#3 Tip: Use the time in
between your
turn to fill the
comment stream
with your wit and humor. Attach some YouTube videos or share
some great images into the discussion. Pick up on key words
from other players or gift descriptions and lead the conversation
into creative paths.
#4 No STEAL-BACKS are allowed, which means if you get a gift stolen from you
it is frozen to you for at least one turn. (AlbinoPhant will display a red
Frozen, just to you, when you have something taken from you.)
#4 Tip: It is almost impossible to make a plan to get something back.
Although we have heard of alliances forming among players to
increase the odds of getting something back.
#5 The RULE OF THREE applies in this game. Once a gift has been opened,
stolen once and then stolen twice it is Frozen to all players. (AlbinoPhant
will place a Frozen under all gifts that locked out of play).
#5 Tip: See Tip #4. Although your odds increase if you make a lot of
noise in the comment stream and draw attention to yourself.
#6 Gift rating is not required, but only allowed when the gift displayed is the
current revealed present.
#6 Tip: Bragging about what
a great shopper you are can
encourage everyone to rate
your gift higher or it can hurt
your rating. Who knows??
But, having the highest rated
gift in the party does carry
some end-of-game bragging
rights! In fact, we leave the
comment stream open after
the end of the game so you
can brag away, if you
choose.
#7 The game ends when the last gift is opened. (AlbinoPhant will display the
Game Over sign and will give you a game summary).
