Ozona, Florida is right on the Gulf side of central Florida, just west of Palm Harbor and not far from Clearwater in Pinellas County. With many surrounding communities, it has the privilege of being part of a growing larger community with many of the extra features nearby that make a community feel like a home. Ozona, Florida remains a quiet and small town of about 1100 people, but enjoys the benefits of major highways and two international airports nearby - the Tampa International Airport and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport. From Ozona, you could be in downtown Tampa within 35 minutes giving you access to all the shops, jobs, sightseeing, and other things that a larger city affords. There are plenty of schools to choose from, too - both public and private. Colleges are readily available in the Pinellas County area. There is plenty of water and water sports close by. Not only is the town of Ozona on the Gulf of Mexico, but there is also the nearby Bay and Lake Tarpon for fun. Water is not the only fun thing around, however, there are also three state parks nearby - Anclote Key, which can only be reached by a boat, Caladesi Island, and Honeymoon Island State Park - and all are within just a few miles. More parks and other activity centers are a little farther away, too.
