Market Commentary (Agri)
Other Commodities: Wheat futures moved further in red today on selling momentum continued since closing hours yesterday. Crop sowing has intensified in Punjab and Haryana on wet, cool weather which has raised hopes of a good output. As per agriculture ministry sowing area until Nov. 12 was at 5.7 million hectares vs. 5.4 million hectares a year earlier. While Guar seed and gum futures traded higher today on lower output concerns and recovery in export demand. Mentha oil futures also surged up today on stockiest buying. While Chana futures extended its yesterday’s gains on concerns that acreage may fall in a key state Rajasthan. The area under chana may shrink in Rajasthan due to poor rainfall and a diversion towards rapeseed. Spices: Pepper futures continued to trade down on extended selling backed by high output expectation. Pepper production in crop year which began June 1 is likely to remain up 10% at 55,000 metric tons on good weather conditions in key growing areas. But hopes of a pickup in export demand limited the losses as global demand generally picks up in late November on Christmas buying. Turmeric Nov futures retreated in later hour of trade today on profit taking but settled lastly in green. But Dec futures ended in red. Jeera futures recover today on higher export demand. While Chilli futures prolonged its yesterday’s gains on lower output concerns and recovery in export demand. Cardamom futures saw a rise on fresh buying. Oilseeds: Domestic edible oil and oilseeds traded higher today tracking firm advices from overnight CBOT and international palm oil market. Higher demand from crushing mills also backed soya bean prices. Crude palm oil futures prices on Malaysia's derivatives exchange were little changed Tuesday, with investors taking profit after prices were unable to sustain early gains due to a pullback in crude and soya oil prices in Asia. The benchmark February contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended MYR6 higher at MYR2,342 a tonne after trading in a narrow range throughout the day. Prices were a tad choppy in the afternoon session, moving in positive and negative territories as weak crude pressured prices while palm oil's widening discount to soya oil supported.

Evening Outlook (Metals & Energy)
Bullion: Bullions are expected to trade with upside bias. Dollar index is just hovering around 75 levels .Also weighing on the dollar, over the weekend leaders at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum pledged to maintain stimulus measures, efforts which have helped this year's rebound in commodities, emerging stocks and currencies - to the dollar's detriment. Today US industrial production numbers and PPI data will be closely watched Base metals: Base metals may continue yesterday bullish momentum. Copper has good resistance at 320 levels while lead at 110.Nickel may trade slightly positive after witnessing sharp correction recently. Yesterday Copper rallied to its highest level in 131/2 months on Monday, as extended losses in the dollar, mounting supply-side issues and economic recovery prospects fed another wave of investment fund flows. Zinc in particular rallied strongly overnight, on concerns over disruption in China, though volumes remain relatively subdued. Nickel prices are likely to find a floor soon, close to current levels, and regain their upward momentum before the end of the year. Aluminum prices may trade with strong note.

Energy: Energy prices may remain on strong note. Yesterday crude oil rose after comments from officials of member nations of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries said that production quotas will probably remain steady. Today API inventories will be closely watched.
