JOB DESCRIPTION - SALES REPRESENTATIVE Sales Make regular sales calls Present new products Meet questions and objections Explain company policies on credit, delivery, etc. Estimate customer requirements Keep inventory records Take orders Service Report complaints Process special credit requests Deliver special orders Review local conditions for and with the customers Territory Management Coordinate routes Provide advertising aids to customers Maintain sample kit Promotions Prospect and approach new customers Work with manufacturer/broker representatives participate at shows and conventions Administrative Prepare daily and weekly call records Create a list of prospects Report on competition Submit weekly reports to home office Gather statistical or survey material for the office Collect credit information Collect past due accounts Attend sales meeting and training sessions Submit new ideas and trend opinions Good Will Discuss problems with customers Attend meetings with foodservice groups Commissions and Draws Paid on commission only, will be paid a weekly draw, commission will be added or deducted from the draw.
