Combined residential sales in December were up 2% from December of 2008. Sales were down 15% for the year.

Single family home sales were up 6.2% in December but were are down nearly 16% for the entire year. If you look closely, you will see that the shape of the sales curve is much different this year. More sales toward the end of the year.

The median price of combined sales in December was $295,000. Overall, the median price was down roughly 3% for the year for all of Boulder County.

During December the median price of the single family homes that sold in Boulder County was $350,000. The average of each months median prices was $356,000 in 2008 and was $338,000 in 2009.
