									Position Information:

Title: Dental Clinic Management Coordinator

Reports To: Clinic Management Supervisor


Job Summary:

   Build and help maintain a cost-effective network of dental providers utilizing negotiating skills.
   Continue to educate and assist in informing providers of current and updated LHI policies and
   procedures. To trouble shoot and resolve provider questions and concerns quickly and efficiently.
   Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

   •   Associates Degree in business or related field require or a minimum of 12 months relevant
       experience
   •   Must have prior work experience utilizing formal written correspondence
   •   Proficient in Word and Excel; experience with MAMS and LHI Command Center or related
       applications a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

   •   Must posses excellent phone skills and have demonstrated highly effective interpersonal
       skills.
   •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
   •   Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and multi-task while balancing a heavy workload
       with multiple and competing priorities.
   •   Must be flexible and able to work within and meet deadlines.
   •   Maintain goal directed behavior in the absence of specific directions.
   •   Work independently and as a member of a team, motivating others by example.

Essential Functions:

   •   Act as a liaison between LHI and LHI’s network of dental providers.
   •   Contact potential dental providers to recruit and secure interest in participating in LHI’s
       network.
   •   Perform services confirmation to ensure that provider is qualified to participate in LHI’s
       network.
   •   Negotiate cost effective fees for services provided by subcontracted provider.

    •   Provide updated information to providers regarding LHI policies and procedures for the
        provider network.
    •   Troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
    •   Perform computer entry of provider information.

Additional Duties:

   Flexibility to assist other departments as needed. Perform additional job-related duties as
   assigned. Travel may be required.

   Generally work will be performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.

   Occasional travel by car or plane is required.
