System Change Requests (SCRs) (See the UD/MIPS Narrative List of Changes Supplement document for details of how each SCR impacted UD/MIPS. The Supplement is located in the UD/MIPS installation directory.) The following items were accomplished with this release: KC008-02: Establish A New Privatized Housing Process This SCR added a new lookup table to support privatized housing processing that sends a member's Basic Allowance for Hous ing entitlement to a housing contractor by an Electronic Funds Transfer from funds being paid to the member. This change eliminates the need to manually start and stop the allotment when BAH rates change. This SCR also established two new TTCs: 185 000 Start Privatized Housing and 185 001 Stop Privatized Housing. MT357: Marine Corps Martial Arts Program This SCR created a new TTC with two sequences to report different levels of martial arts achievement. The first transaction 484 000 reports the initial martial art belt codes, and a new remark is created to maintain the history of each belt achieved by posting the level of belt earned with an eight-byte date of training completion. The second transaction 484 001 reports the instructor's re-certification after the three-year time frame has expired. The new remark with data elements has been added to the UDMIPS CUDDB, the MIPS View Members, the MIPS Reports Basic Training Record, Impromptu CUDDB catalog, and Training folder. The routine converts affected Instructor members who fail to re-certify to their prior belt status. MT371U: Screen Resolution and Resizing This SCR modified UD/MIPS to resize windows, to allow the windows to be maximized or minimized and to change proportionately when the resolution is changed. This SCR created a new deployment box with four data elements that indicate the member's accumulated Pers Tempo Deployments during six-month intervals. These were added to the Entitlements_Information table, UDMIPS CUDDB and the MIPS View Members, Service Report Page 2. MT399: New Reserve Join Sequence for TTC 020 to Allow RUC 86974 (ROTC) to Join from the IRR. This SCR created TTC 020 SEQ 162 which allows RUC 86974 Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) to join personnel from the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR). MT403: Changes to Marine Combat Water Survival Training This SCR modified TTC 486 SEQ 001 the second prompt, WSQ Date, from a numeric word type to a date word type to allow only valid YYYYMM dates. It also modified the Impromptu Water Survival Descriptions from MEDICAL WAIVER TEMP PERM to MEDICAL WAIVER TEMP and WAIVERS GRANTED BY CO/G MCCDE (TE32G3) to WAIVERS GRANTED BY CG/CG TRNGCMD (C472TP). MT406S: Total Force Administration System In relation to the new Marine On-Line web-based application, this SCR added or modified TTC 386 SEQ 000-004. These can be used to add and remove e-mail addresses and to start and stop printing a Leave and Earnings Statement. These data items can now be found as part of the Basic Individual Record Report and on page 3 of the Basic Individual Record View. The Lk Grade Full Rank folder has been replaced with Lk Grade Full Rank 72. The Award Precedence ID code has been added to the LK Awards 70 table, and Electronic Mail LES Dt and Electronic Mail LES Flag Cd have been added to Electronic Mail R991. MT409: Modification to TTC 910 000 MGIB-SR INCNT Code This SCR modified TTC 910 000 the second prompt, ELIG CD to include the new codes 'AA', 'AB', and 'AC', and to enable only RUCS 88880, 54800, 88889 and 88888 to report these codes. MT417: Mobilization Enhancements This SCR modified TTC 099 by adding new SEQ 000 to enhance the mobilization process and changed TTC 826 000 and TTC 826 001 prompts to reflect EAS vice DPI. MT427US: Electronic Diary Feedback Report – Pipe 3 Error This SCR created an exception report that will record recycled Marine Corp Total Force System (MCTFS) transactions found during the loading of a cyclic EDFR into UD/MIPS, and will allow the EDFR to continue to load without receiving a Pipe 3 error. Previously, while loading an Electronic Diary Feedback Report (EDFR) containing recycled transactions, an error occurs, resulting in an unsuccessful load of the unit's EDFR. During the load, the recycled transactions are identified and written to the exception report, and the remainder of the cyclic EDFR continues to load without error. Modified the DFR menu in the Diary Feedback Report Summary window, under Reports to include the option Exception Report. TSO194: Database User Manager The InstallShield windows for installing and uninstalling the server have been changed to accommodate a recent upgrade in the Database User Manager (DBUM) application.
