HISTORY OF ARCHEOLOGICAL, HISTORICAL AND ARTISTIC HERITAGE (class 95/S) Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia opened in. 2001/2002 - Torino RISTRICTED ENTRY: NO COURSE OVERVIEW AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES Specific educational objectives are: • possession of advanced scientific, theoretical, methodological and practical knowledge in the various fields of archaeology , the history of ancient, classic and oriental arts, the figurative arts from the medieval to today; • acquisition of theoretical and applied knowledge of the problems concerning management, conservation, and restoration of archaeological, artistic, documentary, monumental and museum patrimonies.; • in-depth study of specific issues related to the history and conservation of a particular archaeological or artistic area; • adequate ability to use of the principal tools of informatics in the areas of specialization; • mastery, written and oral, of at least one European Union language, including the technical register and lexicon of the discipline. Some possible areas of employment include: specialized professional roles in the specific field of archaeological and artistic heritage in public organizations (Ministry of cultural heritage, Museums, etc.) as well as in companies and organizations working in the field. The course is divided into two courses of study: Archaeological and Historical-artistic. To enrol in the Specialist Degree at least 80 credits from the three-year degree, specified in the table for each course, are needed. Any missing credits can be made up as educational debits. Without the necessary previous preparation in the basic studies, and in any case, with less than 40 credits minimum, the candidate will not be accepted into the course
