Table Tennis – Devon Champions!
GTS U16 (Dominic Sussex, Ben Taylor, Ellis Eggleton, Dale Stevens and Nathan Sussex) competed at this year’s Devon Schools Team Competition at Eggbuckland School in Plymouth. Six strong teams entered into this age group but the rest were no match for our boys who won the competition! The boys will now go on to compete in the Zone competition which consists of the best teams from Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset. We wish them luck. The U13 team also entered the same competition, consisting of Matthew Sussex, Henry Jones, Henry D’Alberti Nicholson and Joe Percival. This was the first time these boys played as a team and did very well. Although they did not win the competition, the boys gained valuable experience and look forward to the individual event in February. Well done to all those that competed.
