Culinary Creations
Realizing that the human mind is stimulated by many different experiences, our district Americorps workers continue to seek avenues to provide positive educational experiences for our students. Laura Hoffert and Elizabeth Eidsen provide one-on-one tutoring to students during the school day. Occasional after-school projects that they have implemented to “broaden our student’s horizons” are discussing the culture from other countries and teaching the students how to make the foods of that specific culture. Students seem to enjoy this new experience. The next “Culinary Creation” class is scheduled for Monday, December 14th. Prior to the class, your child will be given specific details as they pertain to the class. Please ask them to share it with you if they are planning on attending the class.

Middle School Sports
Dec. 23, 2009Jan. 3, 2010. Best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season and Good New Year!
As our Middle School Boy’s Basketball Teams are heading into the last few games of the season, we are gearing up to start the Middle School Girl’s Basketball season. With the issue of declining enrollment affecting most small schools like ourselves, we are happy to still be able to field teams. We appreciate your support if your child chooses to participate in Middle School Sports; Cross Country, Football, Volleyball or Boy’s & Girl’s Basketball.
