Biography of staff on the agenda for contract approval for April 9, 2007: Erin McGrath has accepted a temporary contract as an ESL teacher at Glacier Edge Elementary School. Erin held this position at sugar Creek during the 2005-06 school year. She holds a B.S degree in Elementary Education from UW-Madison. In 2004, she began graduate classes in Bilingual Education at UW-Whitewater, and is working to earn certification this year. Ms McGrath has worked as a Bilingual Resource teacher at Frank Allis Elementary School and Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, both in Madison, and as a long-term substitute at University Lake School in Harland. Nicole Real has agreed to a one-year temporary position at Glacier Edge Elementary School as a Bilingual Teacher at Grade 5. Ms. Real is a 2002 graduate of UW-Madison in the fields of Elementary Education and Spanish. Nicole has student teaching experience at Chavez Elementary School, Midvale Elementary School and Shorewood Elementary School – all in Madison. Eric Anderson is being hired as the full time Instrumental Music teacher at the high school. Eric has a Bachelor of Music Education from UW-Madison. Eric is currently serving as the Instrumental Music teacher at the high school and previously served as band director at the River Bluff Middle School in Stoughton.
