                              1. SCOPE OF THE SPECIFICATIONS

The following specifications aim at pointing out the main working features of the equipment
analysing power supply quality as well as mains disturbances.

                        2. TECHNICAL STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES

The equipment is capable of carrying out tests and measurements in compliance with:

EN 50160

                          3. GENERAL MECHANICAL FEATURES

The equipment Skylab 9032 has been developed in a housing suitable for use both in a yard and on
an installation.
The equipment is CE marked and is featured by:
    - double insulated housing
    - weight of only 1.5 Kg.
    - input terminals complying with IEC1010
    - serial output RS232
    - compliance with elettromagnetic compatibility standards relative to safety testers
    - power supply with batteries and external feeder
    - graphic display to optimise the information displayed in a single backlighted screen to effect
        measurement in scarcely lighted environments.
    - friendly use
    - messages in Italian, English, Spanish and German language directly displayed on the
        instrument’s screen
    - possibility of storing all the measurements taken

                                 4. TECHNICAL FEATURES


4.1 Tests of power supply quality according to EN 50160
    The equipment for measurements on single- and three-phase system with and without neutral,
    both for balanced and unbalanced loads has the following rated values:
    - test voltage up to 600V
    - current with clamp-on meters, output 1V
    - frequency 50÷60 Hz
    - instrument accuracy ± 0.5%
    - transient accuracy ± 1%

The equipment permits measuring and recording of:
   - TRMS voltage value
   - TRMS current value with clamp-on meters
   - measurement of voltage frequency
   - harmonic analysis of voltages and currents up to the 49th harmonic
   - voltage changes out of the thresholds set (voltage sags and surges) with minimum
       resolution 10ms
   - active power
   - reactive power
   - apparent power
   - active energy
   - reactive energy
   - cosϕ
   - storing and recording of measured quantities


4.3 Measurement selection
The selection of quantity or measurement type is possible by means of a switch and selection keys.

                                 5. MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

The instrument’s management software is compatible with MICROSOFT WINDOWS on Personal
Computer IBM.
The Hardware required is compatible with the following performances:

   -   CPU 486 type or Pentium
   -   16Mbyte RAM memory
   -   50Mbyte memory (hard disc)
   -   operational system Windows 95/98, Windows NT and 2000
   -   windows compatible mouse


                                          6. DOCUMENTS

All documents are in English language.
Each equipment is provided with testing and calibration certificates.


                                           7. WARRANTY

Warranty period: 12 months minimum from date of delivery.
The supply of spare parts for the equipment and its repair is granted for a period of at least 10 years.
