1) Introduction
CAPTure is a system allowing a school to hold all their pupil assessment data in one place. It then presents this data in a variety of ways allowing for accurate and efficient tracking of pupil progress. These analysis reports can aid a school in making decisions about where to focus their resources most effectively and also in drawing conclusions as to the effectiveness of previous initiatives/interventions used by the school to raise standards. CAPTure has been developed for use in Primary and Special schools and covers assessment from Foundation stage to Year 6. However analysis covers Year 1 to Year 6. CAPTure allows the information users can view or amend to be restricted. It can be set up so that a teacher can only amend information relating to their class but the Head Teacher or S.A.O. can see and amend the information for all classes.
It has been developed by Camden Council with the help of an external consultant.

2) Initial installation
The initial loading of data into CAPTure will be done by Camden LA staff though they will require the school to provide them with any optional assessment data they wish to be loaded into CAPTure. This data may be held in a variety of formats within the school such as spreadsheets, ISP sheets or hand written documents. The data loaded at this stage is historical data for previous terms and years. We will typically load up the summer term data for the previous year and also statutory data that we hold (FSP and KS1). CAPTure will then be installed remotely by Camden LA staff. You will then be informed on how to run CAPTure from your PC.

3) Getting Started
Where is CAPTure? There may be a shortcut icon either on your desktop or in your Start menu which will allow you to access CAPTure directly. If not, please refer to Appendix 5.3 by clicking below. Where is CAPTure
3.1) Logging in to CAPTure
There is a default password for the initial “Administrator” user. Please contact Camden LA if you do not know the default password. Once you have successfully entered CAPTure you may change this password if you wish (from the “Teachers” section of the main administration screen). Your password may have been set to your first name initially though this can be changed on request.
Notice that these buttons are light and unclear until you have logged in correctly. Once you have entered your User name and password, press the return key (also known as the enter key). All four buttons on the screen should now have turned darker (as shown below) indicating that you logged in correctly

Once you have logged in (see above) Press one of the following buttons:
Admin – This option is only available to you if you are set as an Administrator within CAPTure. The option gives you access to the data import facilities and allows you to add/amend users and classes Class data – Displays the data for your class (only if you have been assigned a class) and allows this data to be added to or amended. Analysis – This give you access to all the analysis reports, tables and graphs.

4) CAPTure functionality 4.1) Main Administration Screen
Note that only users set up as CAPTure administrators have access to the administration facilities. Please see your CAPTure administrator if you need access to the administration facilities. There are four parts to this screen which can be accessed by clicking on one of the “tabs” below.

4.1.1a) Imports and Updates – Viewing and amending data
Class Input In order to view or manually enter/amend assessment data, make sure that you are on the “Import and Updates” tab then select the class that you wish to view/amend

This screen allows the user to view all the information relating to the selected class. Only a user who is an administrator can amend pupil details for all classes. Each teacher can only amend assessment data for their own class (though they can still see analysis reports for any class). Note also that if any changes are made to pupil data the administrator will also need to ensure these changes are also made in Integris. Enter information in the user defined fields here. (See note below)

Note on User Defined Fields: Think carefully about what you enter for your user defined fields. They should allow you to compare children. If they are too specific then there may be only one or two children in a particular subgroup.

Whole class view This screen allows you to view and/or amend data for a whole class on the same screen. It can provide a quick method for entering assessment data, particularly termly assessment data. The screen always presents data relating to the current assessment year.

4.1.1b) Import and Updates - Importing Data Ensure the “Imports and updates” tab has been selected then choose the type of data you wish to import
The following files can be loaded automatically into CAPTure: Import Pupil attributes: The pupil data file is generated from the Integris system through a specially created “ad hoc” report. The file holds the key details for the students including UPN, name, sex, special needs details etc. This import file must be moved to the CAPTure directory on your computer and must be called “PupilData.csv”. (Appendix 5.6.1) Import FSP data: This file import function requires a file in the standard FSP format (from Integris Key Stage Reporting: Appendix 5.7). Import KS1 data: This file import function requires a file in the standard file format for KS1 data (from Integris Key Stage Reporting: Appendix 5.7). Import KS2 data: This file import function requires a file in the standard file format for KS2 data (from Integris Key Stage Reporting: Appendix 5.7). Import class lists for termly data: This allows you to load up assessment data for a particular term from an excel spreadsheet generated from the “Export Class Lists for termly data option” within CAPTure. (Appendix 5.6.4) Please see separate user notes in the appendices on how to create these files from your Integris system.

4.1.2) Admin: Teachers: create/update teachers To view the teachers screen click on the “Teachers” tab below:
This screen allows you to maintain the list of users of CAPTure at the school including setting passwords and assigning a teacher to a specific class. There are two types of user. Administrator: (Admin = “Y”) An administrator has access to the entire CAPTure system. They can amend the list of users, the list of classes, import data from files and view and amend assessment data from any class. Usually, the S.A.O. and the head/deputy head would be set up as administrators. Normal User: (Admin = “N”) A normal user of CAPTure would typically be a teacher. They are assigned to a given year group and class and although they can view all data, they can only amend assessment information relating to their assigned class.

4.1.3) Admin: Classes: create/update classes To view the Classes screen click on the “Classes” tab below:
This screen allows the administrator to maintain the list of classes within the school and assigns each class to a year group. The names used for classes must match the names used within your Integris School Information Management system. You should not need to amend the data on this screen.

4.1.4) Admin: Tools To access the Tools screen click on the “Tools” tab below:

4.1.4a) Describe user defined fields CAPTure allows schools to set up and use up to 4 user defined fields. These can then be used to group children in any way you like. For example, a school might use a user defined field to record who is in which booster groups, which children have received a particular intervention or which children have attendance issues. Clicking 4.1.4a on the administration menu (as illustrated above) allows schools to describe what each user defined field refers to. Schools can now enter values into the user defined fields through the main class data screen (section 4.1.1a). These user defined fields can then be used to form filters allowing schools to select reports to only show the pupils in the groups set up using these fields.

4.1.4b) Viewing/Amending Inactive Pupils When 4.1.4b is clicked, schools should see a form similar to the one below listing all pupils that have left for their school. The “Date Left” field can now be amended to a more accurate date if you wish. The default date set by CAPTure is the end of the previous term.
This information, together with the admit dates of pupils, will then be used to produce mobility reports. 4.1.4c) View/Print Log CAPTure records a number of things in a log. For example, any pupils who join or leave the school are recorded as well as any invalid values for assessment data in import files. These log entries can be viewed or printed by clicking 4.1.4c e.g. after importing data to ensure all was updated correctly etc.

You must select either a year group or a class before selecting the desired analysis screens.
Before selecting a report, you can also add a filter. This restricts the pupils selected based on the filter you selected. For example, you might select only girls who are on Free School Meals, or just one ethnic group etc. Note: At various points within CAPTure, a National Curriculum level is converted into a National Curriculum points score. Please see the Appendix 5.2 for an explanation as to how a level is converted into a points score.

4.2.1) Table This screen displays information for the selected class or year group in a table format. The first few columns refer to general information about the pupil. Seeing this information can be useful in drawing a link between results achieved, the progress made and such things as SEN, EAL etc. National Curriculum levels achieved for each year follow the pupil attribute data. The table ends with information on the amount of improvement the pupil has achieved for each subject since the last academic year and the prior statutory assessment i.e. FSP or KS1 in reading, writing, maths and science. What is shown here depends on the year selected: For years 1 and 2 the improvement shown is that between Foundation and the selected year group. The improvement between the year selected and the previous year is also shown. For years 3,4,5 and 6 the improvement shown is that between KS1 (year 2) and the year selected. The improvement between the year selected and the previous year is also shown.

4.2.2) Graph The graph screen provides overall summary information about the class or year group selected. “On Roll” refers to the percentage of the current pupils for the selected class or year group that were attending the school in the given NC year. This calculation works from the 31st July for the given year. It does not try to adjust for a child that arrived part way through the year. For example, the chart below shows this to be quite a „stable‟ cohort with 60.9% of Year 6 pupils or roll since Nursery.

4.2.3) Mobility report – Details This report displays the following: A list of the pupils who have arrived at the school for the selected year group since the start of the academic year A list of the pupils who have left the school for the selected year group since the start of the academic year End of year assessment details for these „mobile‟ pupils

4.2.4) At or above expected
This worksheet helps to show which students are below or at and above the level they should be at based on national expectation at FSP (Y1 and Y2) or KS1 (Y3-Y6). It also provides information on their performance against the level expected at this time. It also gives information on the amount of improvement they have made over this period i.e. since FSP or KS1. This is useful as it allows you to see progress made by pupils who may still be below national expectations. This report can also be useful in picking up where a particularly „able‟ pupil is at or above the level expected but is not actually making much progress.
Colouring of cells A pupil‟s name will be coloured Red if they were at or above the expected level at FSP/KS1 but are now below the level expected. A pupil‟s name will be coloured Green if they were below the level expected at FSP/KS1 but are now at or above the level expected. A pupil‟s name will be coloured Amber if they were below the level expected at FSP/KS1 and are still below the level expected. Note that the concept of above/below expected is based on the DfES defined levels of expectation and these can be found in Appendix 5.5. The footnotes at the bottom of each table will explain the „expected‟ progress you might expect to see and provide a key to the colours used.

- Actual no. points improved - This shows the increase in NC points that the student has made during the selected period. Example: KS1 Level – 2C (=13 points) End of year 6 level 4B (=27 points) then Actual no. points improved = 27 -13 = 14
No. points expected: This is the number of points the student is expected to improve for this time period.
Better than expected: Will be set to “Y” if the pupil has made more points improvement than the number expected for this time period.
In line with expected: Will be set to “Y” if the pupil has made exactly the number of points improvement expected for this time period.
Worse than expected: Will be set to “Y” if the pupil has made less than the number of points improvement expected.
NB: for years 3 and 5 you cannot make 3/9 points progress so 2 or 8 is not necessarily worse than expected – will be coloured pink.

4.2.5 ISP screens The ISP screens allow information to be displayed for a given class or year group (Y1-Y6) for Reading, Writing or Maths. The screen shows how the pupils have progressed over the period of a year. The aim of the report is to focus on all children who are below where they are expected to be in order to work towards getting them back on track whilst keeping an eye on the other pupils to ensure progress is being made.

The + or – in these columns indicate if the pupil has made progress or gone backwards since the previous term
Note: For ISP the LA wishes to know % pupils on track or above. Currently you will need to add the two figures indicated together. e.g. For autumn term 8 + 33 = 41%

4.2.6 Line charts CAPTure can generate a line chart for any class or year group for reading, writing, maths or science. These line charts display in a graphical form the level each pupil has achieved for each relevant year. It also shows by solid horizontal lines the level that the pupil is expected to achieve for each relevant year. This gives a clear indication of whether the pupil is above or below the expected level as they will be either above or below this horizontal line. The colour of a pupil‟s level at the end of each particular year corresponds to the colour of the „expected‟ level line at the end of that year.

4.2.7) Whole School Graph This screen shows the same information as the Graph option in section 4.2.2 above but includes all the children in the school rather than just for one class or year group. Consequently on roll information is not shown. 4.2.8) Summary Reports This set of reports provides you with a summary of a year group‟s results by National Curriculum levels or based on Average Points Scores. It can show this information in either table or chart format. Before running one of the reports select the following: - The assessment year (The year for which you want to view assessment results for the academic year group chosen above) - The term you are interested in Now you can choose one of the table reports or chart reports.
Note that you can still apply a filter before running these summary reports and then the report will show you a summary for the filtered data requested.

4.2.8.1) Summary of levels This report summarises the number of pupils who achieved each level. It is broken down into boys and girls and you can also request the report showing percentages.
This information can also be shown in the form of a bar chart:

4.2.8.2) Average Points Score This report shows the average points score for the selected class or year for each subject and then the overall points score (based on averaging the points score for reading, writing, maths and science). Only children who actually recorded an assessment result are included in the calculations. The report then goes on to show average points scores broken down into various sub groupings such as ethnicity, sex etc.

4.2.9) Mobility Summary This report summarises the „turnover‟ for your school for the current academic year both for the school and by year group. NB: “Turnover” is calculated by adding the number of pupils arriving to the number leaving and then dividing by the current number of pupils on roll. NB: Calculations exclude nursery pupils but do include reception pupils.
NB: Recent work nationally suggests that mobility of over 12% has a profound impact on the attainment in schools.

4.2.10) Progress Summary report This report gives a visual indication of the amount of progress that has been made by comparing the results for the previous year with the results for the current year.
For example, 1 pupil achieved 2C in the previous year but achieved 2A for the current year. i.e. progressed by two sub levels (equal to four points). Any pupils below the shaded diagonal line will have gone backwards in terms of progress. Any pupils above the shaded diagonal line will have made progress. Pupils on the shaded line stayed the same i.e. no progress. - 31 -
4.3) Target Setting
A Target-Setting option has been incorporated into CAPTure in order to provide schools with: a) an initial starting point for discussion for end of next academic year targets in reading, writing, maths and science and also end of key stage targets; b) a mechanism for tracking progress made by pupils (using end of year assessments) since FSP, Year 1, Year 2 etc; c) a mechanism for tracking the expected progress made by pupils using the targets set for end of next academic year and end of key stage targets; d) a summary of the number of pupils expected to be at each level by the end of the next academic year/end of key stage.
Key Stage 1 targets – End of Reception
Proposed targets for end of Year 1 are generated from the FSP results and uses the nationally expected progress rate i.e. expected to progress 6 national curriculum points since Foundation Stage i.e. score 6 at FSP and then 1B at the end of Year 1 (3 points and 9 points respectively). Proposed targets for end of Year 2 (KS1) are generated from the FSP results and uses the nationally expected progress rate i.e. expected to progress 12 national curriculum points since Foundation Stage i.e. score 6 at FSP and then 2B at the end of Year 1 (3 points and 15 points respectively).
Key Stage 1 targets – End of Year 1
Proposed targets for end of Year 2 (KS1) are generated from the Year 1 results and uses the nationally expected progress rate i.e. expected to progress 6 national curriculum points since end of Year 1 i.e. 1B at end of Year 1 and then 2B at the end of Year 1 (9 points and 15 points respectively).
Key Stage 2 targets – End of Year 2/3/4/5
Proposed targets are generated from the Key Stage 1 results a pupil has, using the nationally expected rates of progress i.e. ½ level every year (3 points) and 2 levels between KS1 and KS2 (12 points). If a child does not have Key Stage 1 results then the system defaults to the expected level a pupil should be at the end of any academic year i.e. 3C, 3B, 4C, 4B for the end of Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 respectively.

4.3.1) Setting Targets Target Setting can be accessed from any of the main screens in CAPTure and once selected you will see the screen below: 1) Select either a class or year that you wish to set targets for 2) Choose a subject (reading, writing, maths OR science) 3) Select the report available for the selected year group in Target Setting In this example we have selected Class 4A, Reading and will be setting targets for the end of the next academic year i.e. Year 5 and end of Key Stage i.e. Year 6

Having selected the Years 5 and 6 at end of Year 4 target setting report we arrive at the following screen.

There are proposed targets calculated automatically based on KS1 results Amend the targets set here if you want to revise the proposed targets calculated by CAPTure
*No target information has been loaded into CAPTure for schools at this stage. Consequently the „Target set‟ column (i.e. end of 06/07 academic year) will be empty. Schools can add this information if they wish. Once entered schools can easily see pupils that have exceeded their target (green), not met their target (red). Those pupils that are in line with their target or have no target set will not be shaded. Targets set for the end of the next academic year will be retained by CAPTure. Pupils in yellow are EAL pupils who are known to make better rates of progress than non-EAL pupils. Consequently schools may wish to revise upwards the targets for these pupils. Pupil Progress From this screen you can select the ‘Details of progress made since entry’ button to look at how many points a pupil has progressed since FSP, Year 1 etc.

1. The first group of columns will report on actual progress made since a particular end of year result. 2. Whilst the second groups of columns will report on the expected progress to be made by the end of the next academic year using the target set information. 3. The final group of columns will report on the expected progress to be made by the end of the key stage NB. The figures in brackets denote the nationally expected progress to be made e.g. By the end of Year 4 a pupil might be expected to progress 18 points since FSP etc. 4.3.2) Target Summaries Once you have set targets for your pupils in a particular class/year group you can look at a summary of those targets. You can select a summary for the end of next academic year or end of key stage.

The table shows how many pupils have been set a target at a given level for the end of Year 5. Cells in red denote pupils who would have been set a target below the nationally expected level for the end of that year, cells in amber denote number in line with national expectation and those in green are ahead of expectation. The target average point score shows what the average point score in reading would be at the end of Year 5 if pupils reached their target i.e. at end of Year 5 pupils should be 3A/4C i.e. 23/25 points. The other figures have not yet been incorporated in this version of CAPTure but will be in the next version.

5) Appendices
5.1) Occasional problem with this version of CAPTure.
Please note that it can take a few seconds to produce some of the reports. Please be patient. Occasionally, when requesting a report, CAPTure may not switch to Excel as it should. If this happens, click on the Excel tab at the bottom of the screen.

5.2) Explanation of National Curriculum Points System
The DfES has developed a system of assigning a points score to a National Curriculum level. This was developed in order to make it easier to compare one level with another and to allow a consistent way of talking about the progress that a child has made from one level to another.
The table below demonstrates how each level is assigned to a points score.

It was decided that each National Curriculum level would cover 6 points Each level is then further broken down into three sub levels i.e. C,B, and A that allow further differentiation in assessment. Note that where an undifferentiated level is given (i.e. just a number with no letter attached) the mid point level is used (the “B” level). So an undifferentiated level of 1 is regarded as the same as the level 1B.

Note that the level working towards (W) can be further fine-graded by using P Levels as detailed in the table below.

Foundation Stage There are no definitive guidelines for how to link FSP to Year 1 etc OR indeed whether one should. Consequently, we propose to use what is being trialled by Camden's Primary Learning Network (POET group) and supported by work done by Pauline Hoare (DFES Primary National Strategy).

Level of Expectation and target setting There are a number of references within both “At or above expected” and the ISP screens to the idea of an expected level. Typically, a colour is assigned depending on whether a pupil is above, at or below the level expected for the selected academic year. When we designed CAPTure, we set these levels of expectation based on DfES guidelines. These levels of expectation may change with time if the DfES feel that the expectation for a given year group should really be higher or lower. If they were to change, we would look to update CAPTure for a following release/update. (See Appendix 5.5) There is at times confusion between a DfES set level of expectation (which is essentially based on setting a level that would lead to the pupil achieving a level 4 at year 6) and levels set by specific schools/LA‟s that have an element of trying to stretch or extend the pupils. It may well be that your school expects a level that is higher than the one set by the DfES. However, CAPTure (with the exception of Year 1 ISP) reflects the National expectation. For Year 1 we have both a local and National expectation ISP analysis. You can however use target setting within CAPTure to set higher or lower targets than those based on national expectation. - 40 -
5.3) Where is CAPTure?
To find CAPTure go to “My Computer”. CAPTure can be found on your “apps” drive (This is often set to your “W” Drive. It will be the drive with the characters “apps” appearing somewhere in its description). You should then find a Directory called CAPTure and then a directory called “CAPTureV2_06_07” To run CAPTure, double click on the file called “CAPTure.mdb” (It may appear as “CAPTure” with a picture of a key)
Note: From September 2007 CAPTure will be found in the main CAPTure directory and not in a directory above this referring to the year. There will be archive directories for each previous year‟s CAPTure marked as “Archive” then the year they refer to (for example, “Archive_06_07”)

We recommend that schools run the Integris Pupil Data export as close to each assessment as possible so that when it is loaded into CAPTure it will reflect the pupils that teachers assess. i.e. Au1, Sp1 and Su1.

5.6) Notes on entering termly data into CAPTure
5.6.1) Update CAPTure from Integris a) Ensure that your Integris system is up to date in terms of Pupils who have recently joined or left the school b) Run the Integris report giving details of all pupils. Select the module “Admin” then “Reports” Run the Integris “Ad Hoc” report “CAPTure Base data” making a note of the name of the file you created and where you created it. First Highlight the CAPTure Ad Hoc report then press “New Query”
Next click the button “Find”

Now select the pupils found
A pop up box will appear. Answer “Yes” to the question “OK to continue?” Finally, press the “Print button”
Make a note of the name of the file you created and where you saved it. We would recommend that you save the report in your CAPTure directory (held on your “apps” drive).

c) Run CAPTure ensuring you log on as an administrator. Go to the main administration screen and run “Classes and Pupil Attributes”
You will be asked to select the file that you wish to import. This will be the file that you created from Integris in section 1b above (this process may take a few minutes). This will create any new pupils in CAPTure, remove any pupils who have left and update any of the data relating to a pupil that has changed in Integris since this Import was lat run (e.g. Ethnicity, FSM, SEN status etc) d) If you want to review which pupils were added or deleted, go to Administration/Tools/view Log.

5.6.2) Create the Class List Worksheet holding blank class lists to be used for collecting the assessment data. On the main Administration screen select “Export Class lists for termly data.”
This will create an Excel file containing a worksheet for each class in your school with Pupils listed alphabetically by surname then forename. The class list worksheet will initially be named “Export.xls” and will be created in the CAPTure directory where your current version of CAPTure lives.

5.6.3) Collect the assessment data from the teachers Decide if you will be expecting your teachers to enter Assessment levels electronically or by hand. If the teachers are to enter the results electronically, provide each teacher with their Class list worksheet asking them to fill in the results for their class. When the teachers have finished, copy the spreadsheet back to the CAPTure directory. If by hand, print out the class lists from the Class list spreadsheet created above and hand to the teachers. The teacher is then to fill these sheets in by hand and return them. These handwritten sheets will then need to be entered into the Export.xls worksheet or entered directly into CAPTure.

5.6.4) Loading end of term assessment data into CAPTure
There are two methods for loading up the assessment data. Method 1) Load the completed Class List spreadsheet into CAPTure i.e. the Export templates Method 2) Enter the results directly into CAPTure:

Make a note of where the completed class list spreadsheet is.
Check that only valid National Curriculum Levels have been entered. CAPTure will not accept any variations (e.g. it would not accept “Below2”,”BLW2”,”2A/2B” etc) b) Run CAPTure then go to the main administration screen and select “Import class lists for termly data”

c) Select the file you wish to import then press the “Open” button below.
d) Choose the term that this assessment data relates to and click “OK”
This will load all the assessment data held in the class list spreadsheet into CAPTure. Please note that it will check that each level entered is a valid National Curriculum level. If it is not, it will warn you and then set the level to blank. You will need to go into CAPTure after the Import has run and re-enter these levels manually through the main Class data screen i.e. the area that shows the details of each child.

Viewing or printing the CAPTure Log can generate a list of pupils with levels that were not accepted by CAPTure. This can be done from the “Tools” tab in the main admin screen.

Method 2) Enter the results directly into CAPTure: 1) Go to the main Administration screen and select the class whose assessment data you wish to enter.

Choose the term for which you are entering assessment data. Proceed to enter the assessment data. Note that CAPTure will only allow you to enter valid National Curriculum levels.

5.7) User Notes – Loading statutory data into CAPTure.
CAPTure has been designed to allow you to load up statutory data i.e. FSP, KS1 and KS2 from files that you can export from the Integris Key Stage Reporting module. You will need to have made a note of where these files are held before you begin the process below. The default filenames will be KSFData2007, KS1Data2007 and KS2Data2007. (See Annex A for further details on how to export this data from KS Reporting).
NB. If you do not have the Integris KS Reporting module then KS1 and KS2 data can be entered on the CAPTure system either manually OR via the termly import excel sheets that you have used for other year groups. 1) Log into CAPTure and go to the main Admin screen

2) Select the type of statutory data that you wish to import into CAPTure (FSP, KS1 or KS2).
3) You will now be asked if you want to Import this type of data

4) Assuming that you answered “Yes” to the previous question, CAPTure now asks you to select the file that you wish to import. This is the file you should have exported earlier from Integris Key Stage Reporting. (These files would have defaulted to save into the OutBox within Integris unless you specified otherwise…recommend saving direct into the CAPTure folder). Click on the file you wish to load then click on “Open”
CAPTure will now load up the statutory data held within the file you selected. When it has completed it will display a message similar to the one below:
It is recommend that you view the relevant class within CAPTure to ensure that the data was loaded successfully.

ANNEX A – Creating FSP, KS1 and KS2 csv files from Key Stage Reporting module
Preparation of pupils‟ records Before you try to run the Exports, you should go to Speed Edit and check the following: For Foundation Stage Pupils: Select your Reception year group as the pupils you wish to edit. From the Area option, select Current Key Stage and make sure all your Reception children are set to F. From the Area option, select Key Stage FSP Year and make sure that all your reception children are set to 2007. For Key Stage 1 pupils: Select your Year 2 children as the pupils you wish to edit. From the Area option, select Current Key Stage and make sure all your Year 2 children are set to 1 From the Area option, select Key Stage 1 End of Statutory Tests and make sure that all your Year 2 children are set to Yes. From the Area option, select Key Stage 1 Year and make sure that all your Year 2 children are set to 2007. For Key Stage 2 pupils: Select your Year 6 children as the pupils you wish to edit. From the Area option, select Current Key Stage and make sure all your Year 6 children are set to 2 From the Area option, select Key Stage 2 End of Statutory Tests and make sure that all your Year 6 children are set to Yes. From the Area option, select Key Stage 2 Year and make sure that all your Year 6 children are set to 2007. To create the export files: Go to Admin > Reports > Key Stage 2007 Reports and select Key Stage Data Export. You will be taken to a Set Export File screen and here you need to click on the down-arrow next to Save In and chose a suitable location to save your export file to. (CAPTure folder is probably best) The default filename will be KS1Data2007 – you can change this if you wish. Click Save. You will get a message similar to the following: AGAIN: Make a very careful note of the path and name of the file so you will be able to find it later!
