    8-1. Scope
                    The standard shall be applied to view area only

                    For the area outside the view area, shall be acceptable unless any scratch or
                    irregularity which affects electrical performance.


                    Criterion of visual inspection shall according to limit sample
                    However, the chip and crack should be applied to the whole part of touch
                    panel.


                    Inspection condition :
                    (A). The lightness of environment is 500 Lux
                    (B). The distance between product and eye is about 30cm
                    (C). The angle of 60 between eye
                    (D). Inspection method is under a ceiling fluorescent light (white color).
                    (E). Reference document of cosmetic inspection specification :
                         CLT-4QD0123 & CLT-4QD0124
                    (F). W= width, L= length, D= diameter => (longest + shortest)/2
                    (G). Please find data below for your reference.

9. Precautions for Use

                     In order to prevent accidental use and performance deterioration, please kindly
                     keep following precautions and inhibited points.


      9-1. Handling Notes
                    (A). Input must be performed through a special stylus only.
                    (B). Do not pile up the products nor put any heavy objects on it.
                    (C). Do not give any shock nor vibration to the product and drop it.
                    (D). Do not apply water, organic solvent nor chemicals such as acid and alkali
                         to the product.
                    (E). Upon carrying the products, be sure to hold the glass edge. Do not touch
                         an operating surface may be stained or damaged. Never pull the tail nor
                         give any considerable force to the peripheral circuit, or tail may be
                         broken.
                    (F). When any dust or stain is observed on a film surface, clean it using a
                         neutral cleaner for lenses of glass or something like that. Do not use
                         alkaline detergent like glass cleaner, manicure remover (toluene),
                         benzene or organic solvents.
      9-2. Cautions for installing and assembling
                    Bezel edge must be positioned in the area between the active area and view
                    area. The bezel may press the touch screen and cause activation if the edge
                    touches the active area. A gap of approximately 0.5mm is needed between the
                    bezel and the top electrode. It may cause unexpected activation if the gap is
                    too narrow. There is a tolerance of 0.2 to 0.3mm for the outside dimensions
                    of the touch panel and tail. A gap must be made to absorb the tolerance in the
                    case and connector.

10. Quality Assurance

             The product is guaranteed for one year after shipping; however, products shall
             not be guaranteed under the following conditions.


             (A). Handling miss. (ex. The shock or fall in your process after products were
                    delivered.)


             (B). Natural calamities or disaster.


             (C). Repaired or modified without permission.


             (D). Handling which does not meet the handing advice described in this
                    specification.

11. Package Method

    11-1. Preliminary Specification
                   Put individual touch panel into the polycarbonate-made slit fillister. Place
                   panels into the carton with protective cover.
                   Taping the carton.
                   Label number of panels on each carton.

      Appendix A : How to measure the linearity

                   Linearity is the upper limit of linearity X and Y. To measure the linearity X
                   direction, like Figure 1. Y1, Y2 connect 5V. Use R0.8mm plastic pen
                   draws the panel from line a1 to an (i=1~n , each direction inside Active
                   area 3~5mm) and record the voltage of X1. For example, one path result is
                   Figure 2. The linearity of path is the maximum difference of measured
                   value and ideal value divided by the absolute value of Emax.
                   Define linearity Xi as:
                   Linearity Xi =       Emax / (Van-Va1)
                   Linearity X = Max (Linearity x1, ….. Linearity xn)
