Extra Credit Assignment Due: December 9, 2005 ABE 450 Design Optimization of a Support Bracket A bracket is to be designed that will support a 5000 Pa load. A 2 m diameter pipe is located between the applied load and the wall where the bracket is to be mounted. The center of the pipe is 20 m from the mounting wall. The bracket must be designed around the existing pipe and it must be at least 0.5 m from the pipe.
