The original name of the Company was DEWITTA, later changed to alpha getriebebau in 1984. It is known as WITTENSTEIN, Inc. (founded in 1992), WITTENSTEIN aerospace & simulation, Inc. (founded in 1999) and WITTENSTEIN arena, Inc. (founded in 2005) in North America.
