Interactive Map Tutorial Interactive Map Web Page Interactive map window: this is where you will be able to view the map and access major construction project traffic advisories and traffic cameras Quick Zoom: allows you to zoom into regions of the map Zoom in and out features: using these buttons you will be able to zoom in and out of the map as well as reset the map to view an overall view of the map. You can also use the mouse to drag the map to your desired location Legend & Layer Options: provides you with an understanding of all map icons and it also allows you to hide or show cameras and major construction project locations. You can also access the help window for more information and print the map using the “Print Map” button. Interactive Map Legend and Layer Options Show and hide features: using these buttons you can show or hide traffic cameras and major construction project icons on the map View Help and Print Map features: allows you to access more help information and you can also print the map with major construction project advisories Types of lane closures: There are three types of lane closures – 24hour, day, and night lane closures noted by colored lines on the interactive map Major Construction Project icons: they represent the various types of major construction projects being tracked by the DriveAkamai traffic management program Interactive Map Traffic Advisories Information icon: You can click on the information icon for each lane closure on the map to get more information about the traffic advisory. The advisory opens up in a separate pop-up window giving you the title of the project, location and times the advisory is in effect. Interactive Map Traffic Cameras Traffic camera icon: You can click on the traffic camera icons and a pop-up window will appear with the traffic camera view. All traffic cameras are JPEG images captured every 90 seconds from the City & County Traffic Camera website. Interactive Map Major Construction Project Locations Major Construction Project icons: You can click on these icons to learn about the major construction projects in that area. A pop-up window will appear giving you a title of the project and a summary explaining the project. Interactive Map Alert and Update Icons Alert and Update icons: The Alert icons note advisories/lane closures of importance. The Update icons note advisories/lane closures that have been updated due to a change in time, location, or type of work Red “info” icon: This icon identifies major construction projects that have weekend lane closures
