Introduction: Mastery in Motion (MIM) is an on-line database that makes state assessment, district assessment, and classroom work sample data available to teachers, principals, and district administrators. The information is used to evaluate programs, plan instruction, and inform students and parents about student progress toward Oregon’s Certificate of Initial Mastery (CIM). II. Accessing the Site: 1. Browse to http://www.2mim.com 2. Enter the Username and Password III. Top Navigation 1. The "Reports" link accesses the Individual, Group, and List student assessment reports. 2. The "Tools" link allows users to enter work samples and view a list of their students. 3. The "Help" link gives users access to online tutorials. 4. The "Logoff" link logs users out of the site (LOG OFF THE SITE DO NOT JUST CLOSE THE BROWSER). IV. Producing Student Assessment Reports: 1. 2. 3. 4. Click on the "Reports" located on the top navigation. Select a school Select your name or the teacher's name from the drop down menu. Select the desired report from the left navigation: a. Individual Report (1 report per student). b. Group Report (Totals and percentages). c. List Review Reports (Names and scores). IV. Commonly Used Reports: Tutorial Created by DDSD Group Reports for Current Year (List of students by teacher or grade) 1. Select "State Analysis" located under the "Group Reports" on the left navigation 2. The next screen is called the "Student Group Criteria". This allows users to disaggregate student reports. 3. For Group Reports for Current Year select the current grade of the students you want to run the report for. If you teach 5th grade and want to know how your 5th grade students scored this year, select 5th grade. 4. Once you have selected your criteria, click continue. 5. Select the level of test. If you have 5th grade students and want to know how they scored on their current round of TESA select the test level of 5th. 6. The next page is the "Assessment Analysis" page. This gives you an overview of how your class as a whole scores on each assessment for that year. 7. Click on the "Details" link for a detailed list of how each student did by overall RIT and strand. 8. Click "View Graph" to generate a graph. Tutorial Created by DDSD Fall Report of Spring Scores: (Last year’s assessment scores for current students) 1. Select "State Analysis" located under the "Group Reports" on the left navigation. 2. The next screen is called the "Student Group Criteria". This allows users to disaggregate student reports. 3. For Fall Report of Spring Scores select the current grade of the students you want to run the report for. If you teach 5th grade and want to know how your 5th grade students scored last year, select 5th grade. 4. Once you have selected your criteria, click continue. 5. Select the level of test. If you have 5th grade students and want to know how they scored on their 4th grade tests, select 4th grade. 6. The next page is the "Assessment Analysis" page. This gives you an overview of how your class as a whole scored on each assessment for that year. 7. Click on the "Details" link for a detailed list of how each student did by overall RIT and strand. 8. Click "View Graph" to generate a graph. Tutorial Created by DDSD Comp Student Summary: (Individual reports that can be printed and given to parents) 1. Select "Comp Student Summary" located under the "Individual Reports" located on the left nav. 2. The next screen is called the "Student Group Criteria". This allows users to disaggregate student reports. 3. For Comp Student Summary, select the current grade of the students you want to run the report for. Tutorial Created by DDSD 4. Once you have selected your criteria, click continue 5. Select the level of test. If you have 5th grade students and want to know how they scored on their assessments last year, select the test level of 4th. 6. You can run the report for individual students by selecting the student's name from the "drop down" menu and then clicking the continue link. 7. If you want to run a report sheet on each student, click the "View All Students" link.
