After changing the host connection, all items can be powered-up to resume operation with the new host connection. Hard Disk Drive Hot-Plug and Unplug Using eSATA When using a SATA host connection, the hard disk drives can be hot-plugged or hotunplugged while the system is running. However, to avoid data corruption or loss, care should be taken to ensure that the host system is not currently using any drive that is about to be hot-unplugged. Using USB When using a USB host connection, the hard disk drives should not be hot-plugged or hot-unplugged while the system is running. Instead, you should eject the drives or shut down your host system before connecting or disconnecting any hard disk drives. Quick installation: 1 – Install SATA host controller 2 – Load driver for host controller 3 – Verify the controller is correctly installed 4 – Select the RAID mode that desired a) BIG – Combine two drive to one big drive , no size discrimination For more information on RAID Manager please refer to ezRAID3 RAID Manager User's Guide http://www.datoptic.com/PDF/ezRAID3.Manager.GUI.pdf DATOptic Inc 1815 E Wilshire Ave # 906 Santa Ana, CA.92705 714 558 1808 www.datoptic.com
