Dial 9 then 911 in an emergency! Voicemail Tutorial
1. Dial 1900. 2. When you hear the main greeting press # your extension. (Example: #2080) 3. Enter your password. (It is the first four digits of your network password.) 4. You will then begin the tutorial. 5. Record you name by following the directions. 6. Record your greeting. 7. The following is a sample greeting: You have reached the voicemail box of (your name). Please leave me a detailed message and I will return your call as soon as possible. If this is a time sensitive message please call the main office. Thank you for calling and have a great day. 8. Change your password: You do not need to do this. We will have the correct password set for you. 9. After you have completed the process, press the * key. That way you do not get the tutorial every time you check your voicemail.
Checking Voicemail
1. Dial 1900. 2. Press # your extension. 3. Put in your password. (It is the first four digits of your network password.) 4. Follow the directions.
Getting an Outside Line
1. Dial *04. 2. Put in your 5 digit password (It is the first five digits of your network password.) 3. Listen for the two quick beeps. That means that the entry of your password was successful. If you don’t hear the two quick beeps, you will not succeed at completing your call. 4. Press the FLASH key. 5. Press 9. 6. Dial the number.
