What is HOSA


 

A unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in HSTE programs. HOSA is 100% health care! HOSA is totally focused on the needs of the health care community HOSA's goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSTE-HOSA Partnership

"To enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health occupations students, therefore, helping the students to meet the needs of the health care community."

HOSA is an effective instructional strategy for helping students achieve the goals of the Health Occupations Education program.

HOSA Chapters are recognized for affiliating all Health Occupations students with HOSA at the local, state and national level——chapters receive a certificate and are listed as 100% HOSA in the Spring issue of The HOSA Online E-Magazine.

chapters that submit their paid affiliation fee by October 15 are recognized as part of the HOSA 100 Club in The HOSA Online E-Magazine and receive a HOSA 100 Club certificate.
