Habits to Begin In College

Precursor
You will read some of these habits and think “I don’t have time for that” or “That isn’t that important” and those excuses are common (we had them), but trust us these are 7 habits that you need to consider because they will aid your entry into the working world.

Habits to Begin In College

Habit 1
1. Read the Major Industry Books and Publications

Why:
1. It separates you from those you are competing with for jobs and internships both in interviews and in casual conversations with potential employers.
Ex: The always reoccurring financial interview question: what would you do with the current interest rate if you were the fed?

2. It prepares you for your first job by keeping you current on industry trends.

3. You simply will do better in school because of it.
