Using CPS

Installing the CPS Unit
Plug the CPS Receiver into the laptop.
Turn on laptop and project it onto a screen (see dataprojector tutorial)
Open the CPS Software by clicking on the icon.
If you already have a database of questions cps.exe.lnk prepared, select “Open an This willExisting Database.” that take you to a screen looks like this.
Select “Engage Lesson”
Select your CPS database and open it.
Select Start
Select “Next” A toolbar and it will like this will take you appear. Press “Start” and the to……. questions will begin
Once you hit start, you will be able to see every students’ keypad and tell who has answered, that option was selected. The teacher has the option to use the timer. When all have answered, hit end and the correct answer will appear.
Hit “End” Select “End”and the correct answer appears.
Advance
Select the Advance button (>)……
…and you will be taken to the next question.
Continue to advance through the rest of your questions using the same procedure as you followed for question 1
