SECTION 1. PERMANENT RESIDENCE.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, for pur-
5 poses of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 6 1101 et seq.), the aliens named in section 3 shall be held 7 and considered to have been lawfully admitted to the 8 United States for permanent residence as of the date of 9 the enactment of this Act upon payment of the required 10 visa fees.

SEC. 2. REDUCTION OF NUMBER OF AVAILABLE VISAS.
Upon the granting of permanent residence to the
3 aliens named in section 3 as provided in this Act, the Sec4 retary of State shall instruct the proper officer to reduce 5 by the appropriate number during the current fiscal year 6 the total number of immigrant visas available to natives 7 of the country of the aliens’ birth under section 203(a) 8 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 9 1153(a)). 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18
SEC. 3. COVERED ALIENS.
The aliens named in this section are the following: (1) Augusto Ernesto Segovia and Maria Isabel Irene Chumbez de Segovia, husband and wife. (2) The following children of the aliens named in paragraph (1): (A) Edelmira Isabel Segovia. (B) Perla Franccesca Segovia. (C) Augusto Thomas Segovia.
