Position Summary:

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is the nation's largest and most influential
advocate for the more than 2 million Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States, Canada,
and Puerto Rico, which generate more than $300 billion annually. It serves as the umbrella
organization for more than 200 local Hispanic chambers nationwide and Mexico by actively
promoting the economic growth and development of Hispanic business leaders and

The VP, Marketing will identify, harness and develop partnerships with corporations and
external organizations that are beneficial to advancing the mission, goals and objectives of the
USHCC. This individual will have overall leadership, management, and oversight activities with
key external relationships and affinity programs. The VP of Marketing will support critical
external-based committees. A key aspect of this role will be to act as the “business development
leader” for fundraising activities and drive activity in key markets. The VP of Marketing works
actively with other departments to develop the strategic implementation of corporate partnerships
and agreements. The VP of Marketing reports to the President and CEO.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

      Responsible for departmental budget and planning process and for achieving project
       schedules and revenue goals.
      Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies that promote the
       USHCC to its stakeholders.
      Manage the development of fundraising strategies
      Seek out and formalize strategic partnerships/ affinity agreements that will create added
       value for the member network, including member benefits and revenue sharing
      Provide on-going new business development opportunities
      Assist in developing in Latina Entrepreneur initiative
      Oversee communication and interface with all relevant parties including corporate
       management, collaborative partner representatives, and high-level national community
       and government leaders.
      Direct all creative and advertising for USHCC family of brands

Qualifications & Experience:

      Must possess strong verifiable project management skills
      Requires flexible, service-oriented and accommodating style
      Must have proven network for solicitation outreach regarding national non-profit
      Individual needs to be able to work with various stakeholders while meeting objectives
       and responsibilities of the position
      BA required. MBA or other advanced degree reflecting business development,
       marketing expertise and business acumen helpful
      Certifications or coursework in marketing helpful
      Bilingual Spanish helpful
