                            Wine Marketing & Sales:
6 Success Strategies for Your Wine & Grapes
Interested in increasing your wine or grape sales? If so, come and listen to this
informative presentation by the authors of Wine Marketing & Sales: Success Strategies for a
Saturated Market. Mr. Paul Wagner, CEO of the successful Napa-based Balzac
Communications Firm, and Professors Janeen Olsen and Liz Thach from the Wine Business
Program at Sonoma State University will be presenting a one-hour seminar describing each of
the six ways to help position your wine or vineyard brand to increase sales.
Following the presentation and questions and answers, there will be wine and hors
d’oeuvres and a chance to meet the authors and buy their book.
Wagner, Olsen and Thach have written the book on wine marketing:
WINE MARKETING & SALES: Success Stratgies for a Saturated Market
(San Francisco: Wine Appreciation Guild, 2007)

“… A must have for anyone who is interested
      in developing successful strategies to
compete in the new world wine Marketplace.”
                                       — Gina Gallo
The book is filled with useful tips and success stories from the global wine business. The book was
prepared for a college marketing curriculum, but it is accessible to winery owners and staff who lack
formal marketing training. Serious wine enthusiasts or anyone who has ever dreamed of opening a
winery will find never before published material in this book. For wine marketers, this book should
provide plenty of ideas about how to navigate the wine market swamp and drive buyers to your brand.

It takes place at the Healdsburg Library, 139 Piper Street,
