To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to participate in a water conservation project with the Tumalo Irrigation District, Oregon. 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3 That this Act may be cited as the ‘‘Tumalo Irrigation Dis4 trict Water Conservation Project Authorization Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. At the request of the Tumalo Irrigation Dis-
6 trict, Oregon, the Secretary of the Interior may participate 7 in the design, planning, and construction of a comprehen8 sive water conservation project by the district. The Fed-
2 1 eral share of the costs of such project may not exceed 50 2 percent. 3 SEC. 3. There are authorized to be appropriated to
4 the Secretary of the Interior, plus or minus such amounts 5 as may be justified by reason of ordinary fluctuations of 6 applicable cost indexes, not to exceed $15,000,000 for the 7 Federal share of costs related to the project.
