Our Food and Beverage Department through years of experience, customer feed back and comments have all to helped develop the program that follows this introduction. Whether this is a business get a way, a family reunion, a sight seeing tour or an event to celebrate your wedding, we take pride in producing a product that will enhance your West Coast experience. Located high up on the edge of Clayoquot Sound over looking the dock and the miraculous views is our Chinook Room. The Chinook room is complimented by the upper deck where sunsets and mountain tops surround your evening. This room has adjoining washroom facilities and is available for both full and half day rentals. For ground access complimented with similarly stunning views we offer the Coho Room. This room was once our traditional dockside pub, revamped to be the now beautiful dockside function room. With a bar area available and an amazing deck just feet above the fishing dock, the Coho invites a warm atmosphere for conferences and functions alike. The Rental rates for these rooms are $250.00 per half day and $500.00 per full day. Applicable g.s.t. will be added. The newly renovated Blue Heron Restaurant is also available for private functions from November 1st until March 1st for a fee of $1000.00 per day. Dessert for all build your own buffets include a selection of home made pies, squares and ice cream. Enhance your desserts by adding a selection of cheese cakes and tortes for only $3 per person extra.
1. Weigh West Marine Adventure Resort reserves the right to supply, prepare and serve all Food and Beverage on the property. 2. No Food or Beverage items may be removed from the function room. 3. Confetti and glitter is not permitted inside any guest or conference area. 4. Candles if requested must be presented prior to function to meet both local fire regulations and Weigh West’s own standards for approval 5. In order to hold space on a tentative basis a deposit of $500.00 is required. The deposit will be applied against the cost of catering and related charges. If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days but less than 60 days in advance of the first day of the function, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If it is cancelled 30 days or less in advance of the first day of the function, there will be no refund. 6. The full amount of the function is due prior to departure. If credit for payment after departure is required, the group is required to obtain credit approval from our accounting department. 7. All Conveners bringing bands or disco music into the hotel will be charged $57.55 in accordance with the SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors & Music Publishers of Canada) performing rights. 8. Please contact the Food and Beverage Manager directly for current pricing and availability on special order alcoholic spirits. Specialty products may require 7 – 30 days to acquire in Tofino. All products used must be supplied through the Provincial Branch of the LDB
All menus are available for groups of 25 persons or more. Select menus are available for any size group. The number of persons is required to be guaranteed 72 hours prior to arrival. Charges will be based on the guarantee or the head count, whichever is higher. Any unused foods from functions remain the property of Weigh West Marine Adventure Resort. A 15% service charge and 7% g.s.t. will be added to all prices. Prices are per person and subject to change. Custom menus are available by contacting the Events Coordinator. Reservations are required for all Groups upon booking with Weigh West Resort. Due to the nature of Tofino and the impact of guests in our outlets, these reservations are at the discretion of the Events Coordinator as to time and location of the reservation.
