REPEAL OF THE PROHIBITION AGAINST GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS ON COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND THE INS. (a) WELFARE.—Section 434 of the Personal Respon- 8 sibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 9 (Public Law 104–193, 110 Stat. 2275) is repealed. 2 1 (b) IMMIGRATION.—Section 642 of the Illegal Immi- 2 gration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 3 (Public Law 104–208, 110 Stat 3009-1834) is amended— 4 5 6 (1) by striking subsections (a) and (b); and (2) in subsection (c), by striking ‘‘(c) OBLIGATION TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES.—’’.
