This AACS-course will cover the fundamentals of cosmetic face surgery. Anatomy and
surgical theory will be followed by live surgery with the possibility of hands-on participation.
Surgeries will include blepharoplasty, face-lift, brow-lift, rhinoplasty and non-invasive
procedures. Video transmission of all operations will also be offered. Particular emphasis
will be given to safety and standards. Participants will not only see the latest technologies but
also new operative techniques. It is of particular notice that the faculty not only includes
nationally and internationally renowned colleagues but also the current President of the
American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Pat McMenamin and the master of motivation Joe
Niamtu. Guillermo Blugerman has often been called the most innovative surgeon and the
international faculty is rounded up by Mario Gioia, a truly experienced man from Naples and
the brow-lift specialist Jan Saether from Denmark. So we certainly look forward to this
exciting event and invite all interested colleagues to take part. Certificates of attendance as
well as CME credits will be provided.

participants whishing to work “hands on” are requested to send a copy of their licence or
certification of being a specialist. According to Austrian law they may then actively
