Area = Length x Width

8m2 = 2.83 x 2.83
The length of one side is 2.83m.


8. Your teacher would like to carpet ½ of your

Double (2x) Area = 34m2


34m2 = length x width

34m2 = 5.83m x 5.83m


The length of one side is 5.83 meters.
