ECPI College of Technology is an independent, private college offering Bachelor of Science, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science, Certificate, and Diploma Programs with National recognition for producing graduates in Computer Science and Engineering Technology. In June 2005, Community College Week rated ECPI College of Technology as the largest producer of computer and information science degrees conferred by accredited two-year institutions in the nation. Degree (800) 290-2177 ext 286 students are prepared for entry-level employment, or career transition placement in the several economic sectors to include: Computer Electronics Technology, Computer Information Technology, Business Information Technology, or Health Science. ECPI has established academic partnerships with a number of major technology vendors to enable the college to package selected technology certification opportunities for students while they complete their academic programs. These partnerships include: Microsoft IT Academy, Sun Microsystems Academic Initiative, Cisco Networking Academy and Oracle Workforce Development Program. ECPI prepared 172 SOC agreements, had 1,161 graduates and a total military enrollment of 1, 409 during CY 2005. ECPI College of Technology is accredited by SACS-CC, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Commission on Colleges. Admission Requirements Applicants MUST meet the following requirements to register for NCPACE Courses at ECPI. In this capacity, NCPACE Students are admitted as NON-Degree Seeking Students: • • A combined ASVAB score greater than 100 on the ARPC (arithmetic reasoning and paragraph comprehension) sections of the exam A High School Diploma or GED If an applicant cannot fulfill the ASVAB requirement, then ONE of the following would be required for NCPACE Registration, as well as admission into College in addition to possessing a High School Diploma or GED: • • • • A combined verbal/math SAT score of 950 or greater An ACT score of 20 or greater An applicant who has previously earned a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college within the past 10 years An applicant who has previously earned an Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited college within the past 10 years • An applicant who meets all of the following sections of the ASSET exam: • Numeric Skills 40 or higher • Reading Skills 35 or higher • Writing Skills 42 or higher It is the student's responsibility to provide proof of their SAT, ACT, ASVAB or ASSET scores. Proof may be provided in the form of an official high school or college transcript that includes the SAT or ACT scores or an official letter from the College Board (SAT) or ACT. For the ASVAB scores, official documentation from the applicable branch of the service may be provided. For the ASSET scores, an official score report from the testing center is required. Student copies of SAT, ACT, ASVAB or ASSET test scores are not acceptable. Transcript Ordering Transcripts can be obtained by submitting a written request that includes your name, date of birth, social security number, dates of attendance at ECPI, your permanent address, daytime phone number, complete address to which the transcript is to be sent and payment. Due to federal privacy laws, a written or form request with signature is required. Please note that e-mail and fax requests for transcripts are NOT accepted. Mail the transcript request form (Attention: Transcript Request) to the location of the campus you attended. Official transcripts are always mailed (or picked up by the requestor) and are only official if in the sealed envelope. The fee for each transcript is $5.00 per transcript requested. Duplicate diplomas or degrees are $20.00 per copy. Payment can be made in one of the following ways: 1. Check or money order mailed with the written request (no cash please) 2. Credit card information provided on the request form. Please allow 3-5 business days for routine processing. The records of individuals who attended prior to 1990 may not be computerized and additional time should be allowed for creation of those records (up to 10 business days). If you have a special deadline, please indicate dates on your request. Credit Transfer ECPI College of Technology is accredited by the Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Bachelor of Science, Associates and Associates of Applied Science degrees and certificates of completion. Credits earned at ECPI College of Technology are transferable to other institutions in accordance with policies of the receiving institution. Students are advised to consult with officials of the receiving school for degree requirements and transfer policy.
