Qualifications and Progression
On successful completion of the course, you will
have gained City and Guilds in Hairdressing
NVQ Level 2.

Your training will give you a firm foundation of
the basic principles of hairdressing. You will be
recognised in the industry as a junior stylist.

You may have the opportunity to progress onto
Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing or NVQ Level 3
in Hairdressing.        With industrial and/or
commercial experience, combined with NVQ
Level 3 in Hairdressing, your career prospects
will be excellent; there are opportunities in hair
salons in this country and abroad, as well as
cruise liners and health farms. You may also
become a Technician/Trainer with major
hairdressing product manufactures. With some
years experience, you could manage, or even
own your own salon.

Males have traditionally been under
represented on this course. We would
