     Ohio BWC Annual Safety Congress Offers Educational Opportunities
            Special sessions focus on Emergency Medical Services
COLUMBUS – The free event, sponsored by BWC, will be held at the Columbus Convention Center on April 1-3,
2008, and is open to the public.
Sessions specifically designed for EMS and first responders include:
    • National Incident Management for dummies
    • Do no harm, do know harm: What first responders need to know about scene safety
    • Geriatric trauma: Don't let the disguise fool you
    • Replantation: Extreme style
    • Trauma assessment and skills simulation
    • Upper extremity trauma and replantation: Putting the pieces together
    • From the war zone to the street: Advances in bleeding control
    • Advanced Burn Life Support pre-hospital provider course (registration fee required)
        Those wishing to only audit the course will receive free CEUs
    • Free CEUs on Day 1 and Day 2 provided by the Ohio State University Center for EMS
