                                                                                      TRAINING POLICY
                                          COURSE RESERVATIONS

Course reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis, upon Tek receipt and acceptance of the
required enrollment information as explained above. On the TRAINING ENROLLMENT FORM, the BILLING
INFORMATION section must be properly completed or a Purchase Order must be attached to the enrollment
form. For courses conducted in the USA, all required enrollment information must be received by Tek two full
weeks prior to the course start date, or the enrollment will be canceled automatically, and no further action
will be taken by Tek. For courses conducted outside the USA, all required enrollment information must be
received by one month prior to the course start date to allow time for arranging Visas, Passports, and travel.

If a course is full, you may be placed on a waiting list, and you will not be held financially responsible until
such time as your enrollment is confirmed by Tek.

Confirmations will be mailed or faxed to the contact person named on the enrollment form. For International
customers, confirmations will be sent to the agent representing Tek, unless other arrangements have been
made with Tek.


                                   ENROLLMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

An enrollment may be canceled up until 2 weeks prior to the course start date without penalty. If a
cancellation is requested within the 2 week period, you will be held financially liable for the enrollment. If the
seats were included as a part of a contract or sales purchase order, then they will be forfeited. Substitutions
are allowed.

Tek requires a minimum of 4 students to conduct a course. Tek reserves the right to cancel and/or reschedule
a course at any time. You will be notified of any cancellations or rescheduling as soon as possible. Normally,
Tek will provide you at least a 2-week notice if a course is canceled or rescheduled.

You will not be billed for a course until you have attended, as long as you are within the guidelines defined in
the Cancellation policy.

GeoProbe User Course
This course teaches you the fundamentals of using the GeoProbe to conduct SS7/C7/GSM/GPRS/IP Network Surveillance
and Performance Monitoring. The course introduces you to the user interface, the applications, and the tools of the
GeoProbe system. The course uses lectures and then has you apply the knowledge using hands-on exercises. By the end of
the course, you learn to use network maps, configure statistics, perform call traces, monitor network interfaces, save
monitored data, and generate historical reports

Course Length -- 2 Days

Who Should Attend
Personnel who use the GeoProbe on a daily basis for Network Surveillance and Performance Monitoring. This course is a
prerequisite for all other GeoProbe courses. Personnel attending this course should have a working knowledge of
Telecommunications, the SS7 protocol, and window-driven systems.

Prerequisites
A working knowledge of Telecommunications, the SS7 and/or GSM/GPRS protocols, and window-driven systems.

This course teaches you the fundamentals of configuring and administrating the GeoProbe system. The course
introduces you to the configuration of network maps, alarms, applications, and the SUDS and CDR profiles.
The course also introduces you to administrating your user accounts and configuring the GeoProbe system to
collect historical statistics. The course uses lectures and then has you apply the knowledge using hands-on
exercises. By the end of the course, you learn to create and maintain network maps, user accounts, alarm
configurations, statistic configurations, and SUDS and CDR profile configurations.

Course Length -- 3 Days

Who Should Attend
Personnel responsible for configuration of the GeoProbe database. Personnel attending this course should be
"protocol experts.” A strong knowledge of either SS7* or GSM-MAP/Air Interface/GPRS* protocols is necessary
to understand appropriate configuration of the GeoProbe database. The GeoProbe User course is a
prerequisite.

Prerequisites
GeoProbe User Course, a working knowledge of Telecommunications, strong knowledge of SS7* and/or
GSM/GPRS* protocols, and familiarity with database applications.

software, aging, back-up and restoration of GeoProbe files, and customization options such as customizing
Bulls-eye alarms and alarm threshold ranges.

Course Length -- CBT

Who Should Attend
Personnel responsible for configuration and maintenance of the SpIserver and SpIstation hardware and
software. Personnel attending this course should have a strong working knowledge of UNIX and the VI editor
in order to perform the UNIX functions required for GeoProbe or GeoProbe Mobile software configuration and
maintenance. Students should also be familiar with LAN/WAN networking in order to support GeoProbe
networking requirements.

Prerequisites
Either GeoProbe User or GeoProbe Mobile User Course, a working knowledge of UNIX and of Network
Management systems. Additionally, students may benefit from completing the GeoProbe Administration or
GeoProbe Mobile Administration Course.

lectures and then has you apply the knowledge using hands-on exercises. By the end of the course, you learn
to remove and replace the SpIprobe hardware, configure specific GeoProbe system files, configure monitor
ports, age, backup, and restore GeoProbe files, and customize Bullseye alarms, and customize alarm
thresholds.

Personnel responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of the SpIprobe hardware and software. Personnel
