A Dynamic Model of Human Populations By Joshua Choi
• Creating a precise depiction of human populations on various levels of complexity. • Making accurate predictions about future populations under several different assumptions.
1st Quarter: • Calculating the general growth rate using a Verhulst's logistic growth curve. • Collecting US census data for the last 200 years. 2nd Quarter • Creating a graphical display of the interplay between populations.
• Finish up the graphical representation. • Factoring in immigration and emigration data when calculating growth rate. • Implementing the same basic structure of the population simulation of the US for major countries in the world.
