First Call for Papers
At the present there were received 13 manuscripts that are now in a peer-to-peer
reviewing process with three reviews (or four in the case of doubt) for each article.
The articles received are from:
• Spanish language – 11
o 9 from Spain
o 1 from Colombia
o 1 from Cuba
• Portuguese language – 2
o 1 from Portugal
o 1 from Brazil
The expectation are that we will possible to have a first number of the IEEE-RITA
Journal with 4-5 articles and three one page presentation articles (Dave Conner; Martin
Llamas and Manuel Castro as Editors and finally, Edmundo Tovar as Chair of the IEEE
Spanish Chapter of the Education Society) being published at the end of November,
2006.
Website Statistics and Access
One of the first success indicators is the expectation for the first Call for Papers that is
reflected in the website access.
This is audited at webstats4u
http://www.webstats4u.com/
and at the time to write this report, this was the most visited website in Spain in his
category (España/Top1000/Ciencia/Universidades) on October, 9th, 2006, and now
(October, 20th, 2006) is located at 49th position.

Here there are included some figures of the access obtained in the website, being so
high on the Spanish one, followed by the Portuguese and finally, the English one.
