Kazakhstan ups oil production 4.6%, gas 10.6% in Jan-Nov ASTANA. Dec 5 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan raised production of oil and gas condensate 4.6% to 64.271 million tonnes in January-November 2008 compared to the same period of 2007, a government official told Interfax.Gas condensate production alone fell 5.1% to 5.469 million tonnes in the eleven months. KazMunayGas, the national oil and gas corporation, reduced oil and condensate production 1.1% to 8.669 million tonnes in the period. Companies partly owned by KazMunayGas produced 26.921 million tonnes of oil in the period, up 9%: joint ventures TengizChevrOil produced 15.62 million tonnes and KazGerMunay produced 2.865 million tonnes, up 23.4% and 3.2%, respectively; OJSC Petro Kazakhstan Kumkol Resources produced 2.913 million tonnes, down 9.4%; and JSC Turgai Petroleum produced 2.989 million tonnes, down 7.4%. Other oil producers lifted 28.681 million tonnes of oil and condensate in the eleven months, up 2.4% from January-November 2007: Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO) - 10.511 million tonnes, down 1.9%, OJSC MangistauMunayGas - 5.135 million tonnes, down 1.7%; and OJSC CNPC-AktobeMunayGas - 5.347 million tonnes, up 0.2%. In November, Kazakhstan produced 6.011 million tonnes of oil and condensate, including 561,622 tonnes of condensate. Gas production in Kazakhstan grew 10.6% to 30.02 billion cubic meters (bcm) in the eleven months, including 16.934 bcm of natural gas, up 10.6%. KazMunayGas produced 1.237 bcm in the period, down 4.5% from the same period of last year. Companies partly owned by KazMunayGas produced 9.056 bcm, up 14.4%, including TengizChevrOil - 7.782 bcm, up 18.1%. Other companies produced 19.727 bcm in the period, up 11%, including KPO -13.544 bcm, up 2.7%. Kazakhstan produced 2.544 bcm of gas in November.
