MARINE CONSERVATION SOCIETY Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser

Introduction to MCS The Marine Conservation Society (MCS) is the only charity working uniquely to care for UK seas, shores and wildlife. We are a solutions-based organisation, working closely with our supporters to: establish vital marine protected areas where wildlife can recover and flourish; clear our coasts and seas of the litter that kills seabirds, dolphins, turtles and other wildlife; reduce the overfishing which is devastating the life in our seas and promote sustainable seafood alternatives; and generally to help the British nation to enjoy their wonderful coast lines and beaches. Over the past five years, MCS has almost doubled in size as a result of investing in its fundraising team (resulting in a doubling in core income from companies), and a fast growing political and public interest in marine issues.
