Automotive Business Studies Certificate of Achievement
This certificate is for individuals who are either already in the automotive industry and are looking to upgrade their skills, or for those who wish to begin careers in the automotive profession. These part-time credit courses are currently being offered online using top-quality industry experts and instructors. This flexible delivery method enables students to maintain their jobs, study at home and receive academic credit for the course completed. Courses may be taken individually or as part of the certificate program. Successful completion of six (6) courses is required to qualify for the Automotive Business Studies Certificate of Achievement.

Automotive Selling In this online course students learn various psychological factors which influence vehicle buying behaviour. As well, students are exposed to a multi-step approach of selling automobiles. Concepts of the Automotive Industry This online course explores the history of automobile production, tracing its evolution from its beginning to today's technologically advanced automotive manufacturing process. It also examines a variety of marketing decisions taken by automobile manufacturers to maintain and increase their market share. Current trends and issues facing the automotive retail sector and automobile dealers are also discussed as well as those that relate to the future of the automobile. Leasing, Finance, and Insurance This online course examines the responsibilities of the dealership business office manager. Topics include the features and differences of key financial products, managing relationships with financial sources, industry trends and the ethical and legal considerations of selling financial products. New and Used Car Sales Management This online course explores responsibilities of the dealership sales manager such as recruitment, selection, training, motivating and managing sales staff. Inventory planning and control, used car appraisal and product availability and distribution are also discussed.
