					FACT SHEET Custom Part-Time FTE Allocation
INTRODUCTION
A Custom Part-time Allocation allows you to assign attendee patterns on individual am/pm sessions. You will be able to allocate part time patterns in the Student Details screen, or the Speed Edit screen. The ability to apply custom attendance to multiple kindergarten groups is one example of its use.

Option 1

To assign one student FTE and allocate a part-time FTE Integris > General > Student Details > Additional Tab
1. Click on the Edit Pencil .

2. Change the FTE to indicate a part time fraction to enable the Part Time Status fields to be used. 3. Select the Custom button. 4. Once selected the Assign PartTime Pattern icon appear. will

Click on this icon to display the Part Time Pattern window. 3. The attendance pattern can be changed by clicking on each session. By doing this the session toggles between – a. b. 4. Click OK. 5. Click OK on the Add/Edit screen to save permanently. - Indicates that the student is due to attend school for this session. - Indicates that the student is not due to attend school for this session.

Not:

You can change the attendance pattern by clicking on each session, which will toggle that session between “due to attend” and “not due to attend”.

Option 2

Speed Edit can be used to add or edit the Part-time Attendance patterns for a group of students. Integris > Admin Side Bar > Speed Edit
1. Open Speed Edit. 2. In the Area field select FTE and Part time Status from the drop down menu. 3. Use the binoculars to search for students (e.g. Kindy Form students), and simply select them from the Form drop down menu. 4. Select the students by using the Select All button, or by using your mouse and dragging down. 5. Enter the required student FTE in the New Value field at the bottom. 6. Click on the students. to update those

7. Click Save to display the Part Time Selector window.

8. Select Custom to display the Attendance pattern selector. 9. Enter the required attendance pattern by clicking on each session. By doing this the session toggles between – a. b. Indicates that the student is due to attend school for this session. Indicates that the student is not due to attend school for this session

10. If the Use Selected for All box is ticked, the current Attendance Pattern will be saved for all students highlighted in the Speed Edit window. 9. Click OK.
