UFo Invasion scheduled at Lernerville August 7
Budweiser Points begin this Friday April 24

Sarver, PA (April 21, 2009) Nobody is safe from the invasion! After a year of resisting the irresistible force, the Lernerville Speedway has fallen prey to the “Alien Invasion” and will be hosting a UFo Late Model event, (the Lunarville 33), on Friday August 7. The alien was spotted last week at Lernerville Speedway as proved here in the photos below shot by photographer Frank Wilson.

The UFo-sanctioned Lunarville 33 will be included in the Fab Four Racing event scheduled that evening with an increased purse, (featuring $2000-to-win), to go along with the extra laps of the feature event. Standard Lernerville Speedway/DIRTcar Late Model Rules will apply, including an option to allow the PPMS Spec Motor. Friday August 7 will also be DIRTcar/UFo Fan Appreciation Night. Despite the extra laps and purse, there will be no increase in admission prices! Furthermore, this race will also be a dual point event for both Lernerville/Budweiser points and for UFo Points. More details about the UFo Race at Lernerville Speedway on Friday August 7 will be released in the near future both at www.Lernerville.com and www.UFoRaceChampionship.com. Speaking of Budweiser Points at Lernerville Speedway, the chase for the 2009 Track Championships begins this Friday Night April 24. All Fab Four divisions will be in action.

This Friday Night April 24 is also “Ladies Night” at the speedway. Women of all ages will be admitted FREE into the grandstands until 7:00PM! Bring your mom, grandma, daughter, niece, girlfriend, or even your wife! They all get in FREE before 7:00PM!

The National Guard Heat Race Challenge will also begin this Friday Night and will continue every night of Fab Four Racing when Budweiser Points are on the line. Each heat race winner will be awarded one point for each heat race win. The top three in points at the end of the season will receive a bonus courtesy of the National Guard. The National Guard Heat Race Challenge Winner will receive a $400 bonus from the National Guard. 2nd place will receive $250, 3rd place will receive $150. For more details about the National Guard Heat Race Challenge click here! The Fan of the Week contest will also resume this week! The Fan of the Week forms and mailbox will be at the Lernerville Speedway souvenir trailer. A winner will be pulled during the Advance Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman feature. Prize package includes 2 FREE Fab Four Tickets, a Lernerville Speedway hat or t-shirt, A Large Pizza from the Sirena Pizza Stand, a trip to Sheetz Victory Lane and a photo of you and the feature winner from Stivason Photos. Not the Fan of the Week type? There’s another way to get 2 FREE Fab Four Racing tickets. There is always an “Enter to Win!” contest going on at www.Lernerville.com. The current contest asks you to predict the first repeat winner of 2009. Gregg Satterlee almost won somebody two FREE tickets this past Friday Night during the Inaugural All Star 50, but got BOOMed out of turn two with three laps to go! Satterlee will give it another go this Friday Night, but like fellow Opening Night Winners Ed Lynch Jr., Brian Swartzlander and Terry Young, he’ll have to come from 12th on the starting grid to repeat! The Fab Four Fantasy League is quickly approaching 200 league members. To ensure the 200 member mark is hit, Lernerville Speedway is putting up 2 FREE Fab Four Tickets for the 200th person to register. The league starts on Friday May 1 and registrations will remain open until the day of the race. Log in to www.FantasyDirtRacing.com to register today! The Trackside Radio Show will hit the airwaves again this Friday April 24 at 6:00PM on WEDO 810AM. This week’s show will feature one of the all time greatest drivers in Lernerville Speedway history! Tune in at 6:00 to hear what brought this legendary driver out of retirement! With the excitement of the Inaugural All Star 50 fresh in the minds of local late model fans, we’d be remiss if we did not mention the fast approaching $10,000-to-win Showdown in Sarvertown featuring the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. The world’s best late model drivers will invade the 4/10-mile Sarver Speedplant in just over two weeks on Tuesday May 5. This will be the final major tune-up for the highly anticipated 3rd Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com on Friday-Saturday June 26-27. Tickets for both events are available at www.Lernerville.com.
