Assessment Tool B Staff Plan for New Team Dynamics The organisation of the team will be divided into trainees section, the staff section, the senior staff section (experienced PT) and management (myself). The senior staff will mentor the trainees and the management will look after the senior staff, to allocate which trainees go to which PT. The team will set goals together to agree upon a plan that is best for staff and trainee members to find out what best suits all parties involved with the mentoring program. It is the trainees’ responsibility to attend work at the studio and be up to date with course requirements. It is the senior staff’s responsibility to teach the trainees the practical experience within the allocated time they have with them. It is the responsibility of the management to make sure everything for the trainees and the senior staff who are mentoring those runs smoothly, and to fix any problems that may arise. The team dynamics will be set out so everyone involved within the staff group can have their say. Although different people within the company will have different jobs the office layout and organisational culture will not be changed. The PT, management and general staff will all have their own offices within the studio and pay circumstances may change dependant on jobs done and hours worked. Resolution for all conflicts that may arise can be resolved through a compromise resolution strategy especially when dealing with bias or discrimination this can best be resolved by using a comprise stance for all conflicts. Using a comprise resolution strategy allows all parties to have their say about what is on their mind and allow for all sides to heard to reach an agreement. Team commitment can be met through the trust that they will be heard by management, whatever their problem is and that nobody on the staff is above anyone else as a person. Through these team dynamics the traineeship should run effectively.
