The elegant Brushtails Bar is the ideal place for a pre-dinner drink or nightcap - and you can dine in style at The Grey Gum, the signature à la carte restaurant. The Grey Gum offers heart-warming meals prepared with fresh Tasmanian produce to match the rugged atmosphere of Cradle Mountain. Fine Tasmanian reds and whites compliment this carefully selected menu and your selection of entrée, main and dessert. The Grey Gum is open every night for dinner.

Where to stay
Cradle Mountain Chateau is the perfect place to base your alpine experience. All 60 of the beautifully-appointed rooms and suites at Cradle Mountain Chateau have double-sliding doors opening on to their own small private decks for wildlife viewing and woodland views. All accommodation is ground-floor level. Rooms and suites range from a comfortable Deluxe Room with a queen and single bed to a Split Level King Spa room with a sunken lounge, kingsize bed and lavish bathroom spa.

The Wilderness Gallery

See one of the world’s finest collections of nature photography – ten rooms full of wild inspiration. Australia’s largest privately owned gallery takes visitors on a remarkable journey showcasing images of wilderness destinations that cannot be easily accessed by visitors, opening up new worlds and connecting visitors with the environment. Changing exhibitions in the Gallery’s 10 rooms feature the work of acclaimed Australian and international photographers. Images are available for purchase and guided tours of the gallery are available by arrangement.
