Contra-Indications are situations where your therapist may have to consider whether or not they can treat you. Every condition has to be considered so it is important that you are honest on your forms as they are private and confidential.

Holistic Massage Therapy Contra-Indications to consider such as:          Recent injuries (whiplash, breaks, sprains) Being intoxicated (drugs or alcohol) Being on strong medication Heart or respiratory conditions Hepatitis, or aids related diseases Migraine or severe headache Skin disorders, acne, rashes of unknown origin, infections etc Severe inflammation, open cuts or sores Very hairy treatment areas

Indian Head & Face Massage Contra-Indications to consider such as:                    Recent head haemorrhages (brain, eyes, nosebleeds etc) Head lice, head mites, severe dandruff, etc. Recent neck, head, back or shoulder injuries (whiplash) Being intoxicated (drugs or alcohol) Being on strong medication Heart or respiratory conditions Hepatitis, or aids related diseases Thrombosis or varicose veins Migraine or severe headache Skin disorders, acne, rashes of unknown origin, infections etc Severe inflammation, open cuts or sores Asthma Epilepsy Pregnancy Allergies Diabetes High/low blood pressure Contagious illness Contagious skin disorder
