More Reasons to Love Your VSP Contact Lens Benefit

At VSP, we want you to love your eyecare benefit. That’s why we offer a contact lens benefit that delivers exceptional value with an allowance toward a contact lens exam (fitting and evaluation) and lenses. What’s more, you also receive an exclusive 15 percent discount off the cost of contact lens professional services from your VSP network doctor. Now, there’s even more reason to love your VSP contact lens benefit with our contact lens care program for those who need replacement soft contact lenses. When visiting a VSP network doctor, current contact lens wearers who qualify will enjoy a covered-in-full contact lens evaluation* and an initial supply of nonspecialty replacement lenses** in a variety of wear schedules, including: • Conventional • One- to two-week disposable • Extended wear • Planned replacement To participate, you must already wear soft contact lenses from VSP’s list of the most popular brands available. See the reverse for a list of the brands included in the program, then talk to your VSP network doctor to find out if you qualify. The program is based on a $120 contact lens allowance, but you can still participate if your allowance is less. Simply pay your VSP network doctor the difference between your allowance and $120 at the time of your contact lens evaluation. To find out more about your VSP benefit and other valuable savings available through your VSP network doctor, visit or call (800) 877-7195.

Love Your Eyes:

Keep them healthy with an annual contact lens exam

That’s why contact lens wearers need a contact lens exam (fitting and evaluation) in addition to an annual eye exam. * Contact lens wearers with complex prescriptions, more than a minor change in prescription or eye health problems, as determined by your VSP network doctor, require greater evaluation and fall outside of this program. ** Non-specialty contacts are soft, spherical single-vision lenses and do not include toric, multifocal, monovision, aphakic or other specialty lenses. The initial supply averages six months, but will vary based on the manufacturer and brand.
