INTRODUCTION
The standards established by this signage manual represent Georgia Southern University’s
basic signage program to identify space, provide direction, and give continuity of form and color
 to the campus.

A detailed study of the Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance Guide, an investigation of
commercial systems, and a review of other universities’ signage provided the standard
 components for this manual.
