This will be held in the Ridgeview parking lot. Bring your paper, cardboard, fiberboard, plastic bags, plastics #1 and #2, tin, steel and aluminum and we will take it to the recycling center. FREE magnet for first 100 people!! RMS PTA Meeting November 17th, 5:30pm (note time change) RMS Lecture Hall Come see all our wonderful Reflections entries. There are also a couple of other events happening this same evening. Be sure and check out the RMS book fair in the library which will be open until 7:30pm and don’t miss the Family Fun Fitness night being held in the Ridgeview Commons and Gym beginning at 6pm. Gingerbread houses around the world December 7th, 3:30-5:30 The RMS PTA RADICAL group is sponsoring our 3rd annual Gingerbread house workshop. Permission forms will be sent home before the event and need to be completed and turned in to the Advisory teacher. Donations are being requested for Graham Crackers, ice cream cones, mini pretzels, small candies to be used as decorations such as M&Ms, skittles, peppermints, red hots, licorice, etc. If you would like to help at the event or have any questions, please contact Karen Buffum at Kpbcoyotes@aol.com Send donations into the front office to Karen’s attention. Thanksgiving Pie donations We are Truly Thankful…. RMS PTA Faculty Appreciation would like to request donations of Pies for each of our 140 faculty and staff. Beginning @ 8 am to 10:30 am, or until everyone has a pie. Please feel free to drop them off in the front office beginning on Monday, November 23. You may also bring them to the Pro Center. (note that pies can be home made or purchased) Also we would love any volunteers that are interested in helping with wrapping and delivering pies to please join us! Tickets are $6 the evening of the dance. $1 off ticket price w/ coat/jacket donation (no hoodies) Dance Contracts must be signed by parent & student before purchasing dance ticket. Turn in overdue library books. Sorry, we cannot accept any library books on the evening of the dance. RRISD Dress Code Applies. Come prepared to have fun and even do some Karaoke ! Must bring student ID to dance. If your child doesn’t have his/her ID, parents will be called to either come pick up their child or bring the ID. Please note that our 8th grade Positive Rewards Committee would like for all 8th graders to wear the Great Gobbler Games t-shirt on our end of year reward trip, so it will be helpful to have in that case as well. Volunteer info: each advisory will need at least one parent volunteer and additional parent volunteers are needed for set up, tear down, selling concessions and more.
