Expression of Interest towards “Development of methodology for finalization
of Rate Contract for taking up various painting jobs in ONGC”


ONGC invites “Expression of Interest” from reputed original Paint manufacturers,
towards “Development of methodology for finalization of the Rate Contract” for supply
and apply of various decorative paints to ONGC buildings across the organisation.

The original Paint manufacturers would be required to supply and apply of paints
almost in 25 Work Centres, in various States / UTs of India and would be required to
mobilize the materials & manpower as and when required at various Work Centres.

The modality of the scheme shall be discussed in the “Vendors Meet”, to be held
after receipt of the preliminary proposal from the original Paint manufacturers. The
prospective original Paint manufacturers are required to submit their proposal to
CE (Civil), ONGC, 5th Floor-Scope Minar, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi-92, as per the details
given below:

Submission of preliminary proposal: On or before 11.12.09 at 3.00 P. M; Vendors
Meet: 18.12.09; Submission of detailed proposal: On or before 04.01.2010 at
3.00 P. M.

The preliminary proposal should contain brief details of the original Paint
manufacturers and the detailed proposal should contain the details of the similar
nature of jobs undertaken / being undertaken with other Corporate Sector (s) along-
with the copies (Hard as well as Soft Copies) of LOA / LOI, agreement and other
terms & conditions etc.

This “Expression of Interest” is without any financial commitment from ONGC. On
formulation of the methodology, open tenders will be invited for taking-up the painting
jobs.
